Restore Trashed Records Anytime Within 30 Days

Access the recycle bin from the Data Administration tab under the settings page in Zoho Projects, which gives better control over the trashed data. When records like projects, phases, task lists, tasks, issues, or project templates are trashed, they are moved to the Recycle Bin before being removed permanently. Users will have 30 days to review and restore them if needed.

Consider a scenario where a team has created multiple project templates named Onboarding Sales, Onboarding Final, Onboarding V1 and Onboarding V2. In order to declutter the tab, delete all the outdated templates except Onboarding Final.



A Few days later, when the Onboarding_Sales Template containing unique fields specific to the sales team is required, instead of recreating the template again, it can be restored from the recycle bin.

Navigate to Data Administration > Recycle Bin, filter by "Projects/ Project Templates", and restore Onboarding Sales template with just a click. The template would be restored to its original location in your Zoho Projects portal.



Users can also restore or clear the data in bulk from the Recycle Bin using the Empty Recycle Bin option. This will permanently delete all records in one go.
