Tip of the Week #34: Embed Calendars using Zoho Calendar



You can make your calendars public and visible to the general public by embedding them in your websites/blogs using Zoho Calendar. You can use the embed code to add your own calendars to your website's/ blog's HTML code, and the calendar will appear on your site/ blog.

When embedding your calendar, you can choose from ten different default templates provided by Zoho Calendar. Choose from a variety of templates to customize the look of your calendar to match the theme of your website. Before copying the embed code, customize the title, language, calendar height/width, calendar view, and time zone. You can also select or deselect the title, time zone, and details view to be displayed on the calendar that will be embedded.

To embed a calendar, make sure that you are the owner of the calendar. Right click the calendar under My Calendars from the left pane of the calendar window and click Edit (or) Go to Settings > Calendar > Calendars > My Calendars and click on the calendar you want to embed.

Enable Public access for the calendar under Public calendar options and choose the permission to  View only Free/Busy or View Event Details. Only if you enable public access you can embed calendars in your websites/ blogs.


Click on Embed Calendar button under Calendar URL. Customize the embed version based on your requirements and click Copy code. Paste the copied embed code in your website's/ blogs HTML code and your calendar will be embedded to your website or blog.

If you have been using the old Calendar UI, you must replace the embed codes from your websites using the embed codes obtained from the new Calendar UI. The old Calendar UI has been deprecated and support has been stopped completely.
