We are excited to share the first set of updates for Zoho Billing in 2024. Read along to know more about a wide range of updates, from the Aging Summary in customer statements to Apple Pay support in Stripe.
One-Time Invoice with Plans and Addons

You can now create one-time invoices with plans and addons.
Here are a few potential uses for this feature:
- This is particularly useful when you want to sell a plan to your one-time customers, without impacting your churn reports.
- If your customer wants you to make changes to their existing subscriptions for a single billing cycle, you can void the auto-generated invoice for the cycle and create a new one-time invoice with the required plans and addons.
- If you import a backdated subscription without the associated invoices, you can create backdated one-time invoices with the associated plans and addons to maintain your transaction records.

Unique Customer Numbers (Germany)
Eliminate confusion caused by multiple customers with the same name. Now, you can associate a unique number to your customers, which reduces the risk of errors while managing transactions.
Once enabled, you can configure how to auto-generate customer numbers. If you have existing custom fields for tracking customer numbers, you can migrate them to the new Customer Number field and auto-generate numbers for new customers.

Create Subscriptions From Quotes

Craft personalized quotes with custom pricing for plans and addons, which your customers can either accept or decline. These quotes can be directly converted into subscriptions. You can create quotes for subscriptions from the Customer Details page or the Quotes list page.

Note: You can select only one plan for the quote. Once a plan is selected, you can add the required addons.

Enhance your customers' payment options by enabling Apple Pay via the Stripe integration. View supported regions.

Aging Summary in Customer Statement
We have supported adding Aging Summary in the Customer Statement. This also helps you view the outstanding payments for a particular customer with ease, instead of generating the Aging Summary report.
