Beta feature: New fields in Layouts

Orchestly provides a set of custom fields that can be added in layouts to capture different organizational details. In addition to these existing custom fields, we’ve introduced 3 new fields: Date, Checkbox, Radio button, and Line items.  

Note: The new fields are currently released as Beta Features. If you’d like to try it out, please email our support team. 

Date Field

Orchestly supports Date as well as Date & Time fields. You can either choose to capture only the date or both date and time from the users. 
 
For example, to capture Birthday or Date of Joining- Date field can be used. However, for Delivery date or Exam date- Date & Time fields can be used to mention the precise time along with the date. 



Checkbox Field

A Checkbox field lets users either enable or disable an option. 
 
For example, to get consent from the user about your organization's terms and conditions, checkbox field can be used. 



Radio Button Field

A radio button field allows users to select a single option among many other options. 

 

For example, to declare the gender of the user, radio button fields can be used.



Line Item Field

Line item fields can be used to add tables to layouts. Users can then add records to these tables from Jobs. 
 
For example, to fill out billing details such as Product code, Product name, and Cost, in a single table, Line item fields can be used.
