How do I fully delete a user account

Hi,

I have two old accounts on my CRM which are inactive and show as 'Closed' in the list of users. BUT they are basically still there. How do I fully delete these accounts? They appear in some parts of CRM still such as the on the contact record emails section.

The on screen view of inactive users shows:

[username]  Closed
CEO, Administrator
User does not exist
