Issue with Zoho Books /Zoho Inventory Support Team

Oh my goss! This ticket just got closed without a solution/response?! (attached screenshot) That is so pathetic. I thought I could keep impartially all tickets tracked in your help website. Do I need to track issues raised to zoho support team in a separate app? Also, is this email managers-escalations@zohobooks.com actually meant for a genuine escalation? – I find same people responding from both emails.


This is not first time with me. Has anyone else faced issues like this?

It seems like you missed my second query “As we buy and sell, the WAC keeps changing. Where is this tracked? Attached (in previous email) is also inventory valuation report that is missing a column for WAC. Or is it me missing something?” Please could you check this.

Hi there,

Greetings from Zoho Inventory!

Sorry for the delayed response, as per your queries.

1. We would like to let you know that the WAC of the Item cannot be viewed from the overview page of the item.

2. And to know the value you will be able to view the same from the Inventory valuation report. (i.e) If the item is set with the WAC valuation then the asset value that you see here is the inventory valuation report is based WAC. And if the item's valuation is set as FIFO, when the asset value that is shown in report is based on FIFO. And there is no separate column for the WAC or FIFO value)

(And you can click on the asset value to find the list of transactions)

1.        Where do I see what current WAC of an item is whose valuation method is set to WAC. Attached is overview page of an item – I do not find the current WAC field. Is it located somewhere else?

2.        As we buy and sell, the WAC keeps changing. Where is this tracked? Attached is also inventory valuation report that is missing a column for WAC. Or is it me missing something?

No, If the item is set for WAC then the valuation will be based on the WAC.

And if the item is set for FIFO then it would be based on FIFO.
