Tax in Quote

Each row item in a quote has a tax value.

At the total numbers at the bottom, there is also a Tax entry. If you select tax in both of the (line item, and the total), the tax doubles.

My assumption is that the Tax total should be totalling the tax from the line items.

Can anyone else let me know if they experience the same, or am I doing something wrong?

Moderation Update (January 2024):

With the support for aggregate fields in subform, it is possible to calculate the total of the taxes from the line items.
Please follow the steps below,

Setup > Customization > Modules and Fields > Quotes > select layout > click 'Add Aggregate Field' > choose ' SUM' as Aggregate Function > select 'Tax' in the Subform Field drop down > hit Done and save the layout.
