For our business model, it's almost impossible to keep track of all emails sent to clients, under the way ZohoCRM currently tracks emails to customer records via the user account only. We'd like to see a way of tracking emails via domain only, separate to user-accounts.

The reality is that over 50% of our staff are in roles we do not want to give access to our CRM, either for security/seniority or temporary contract reasons, however they may be given a business-domain email address to communicate with customers outside the CRM for their role functions. 

We would like to be able to track their emails from their business-domain email account to customer records in a way that is not dependent on them using the BCC dropbox system, or having to purchase a CRM user licence for them when they will not be using it. 

Similarly, we have also have generic "department" mailboxes (such as info@mybusinessname.com or accounts@mybusinessname.com) used to communicate to customers that we would like to track the emails of, again without being dependent on the BCC dropbox system. These mailboxes do not represent a single individual or person, and having to have extra user licences simply to be able to track these emails is punitive. 

The IMAP 'back up' option is great for staff who do have CRM access who then leave the business, and the BCC dropbox is a great option if staff remember to use it, but neither solve our problem and having to have extra licences for mailboxes that aren't actual users is financially prohibitive. I'm sure we're not the only business with this issue!

We would love to see functionality that would let us track all emails from a custom domain - just "@mybusinessname.com" instead of "Specific.Person@MyBusinessName.com" so that contact history can be maintained in a more holistic way.
