I created a smart list of my team members based on the criterion that their email domain was @_____. The list refreshed as expected — but it ended up unsubscribing almost all members of my team.

I contacted support, but it took two months to get a reply, only to be told there was no solution and that I must have unsubscribed them myself.

Later, I created another smart list to isolate the contacts of my board members, and the exact same thing happened again.

I really don’t understand how it’s possible that there’s no way to reverse this situation, and why Zoho isn’t able to help restore these unsubscribed contacts.

What’s even more confusing is that, in the French version of the software, the only message shown says that “contacts that no longer meet the criteria will be removed from the list” — which is totally fine. There’s no indication that it would unsubscribe them entirely from communications.
