I use Zoho writer , in compatibility mode of IE 8 . For all new documents created by me I get Error message and the documents are not saved. kamaths

Hi, i can't understand how to send post form with 'content' value and multipart form data needed by uploadDocument API through PHP Curl Lib. If i send the plain form all works fine, but if i use a php proxy as curl, also rebuilding exactly the POST nothing will be uploaded. Any helps? Thanks a lot.
Using TAB in Writer Tables
Hi I am trying to use tables in Writer and am unable to use the TAB key to move between cells in a table or to extend the table. I am using Firefox 3.0.3 on Linux. I saw a note that this now works on IE but this is not an option for me. If TAB cannot be made to work right now is there an alternative keystroke to a) move between TABs and b) to extend the table; or do I have insert rows one at a time from the context menu? I have shared a document with some classmates as we work on a group project. Is it possible for them to see versions of the document as we work on it. I cannot seem to find a way to do this. It looked to me like that feature was missing when one of them logged into their account. thanks andrew

Remote server error- using remote API
I am using Remote API to save the document on my local server. Suddenly, I am not able to do that. It was working fine for me till yesterday. In firebug, I can see the response as "<html><body>Server Error Occurred. I have a dokument with two culumns which is an odt edited with OO 2.4 There are no culumns in the writer .... A second thing : Is it possible to custom the writer according a definition in the master document ? Vor example we have certain kind of documents in our firm. a Letter a info a police etc. The letter is made with with one column. The info is to make with to culumns and Arial. The user should not be able to change this so the buttons menue entries should be switched off according the type

I am trying to get my resume from a word document into a pdf. Every time I go to cut and paste my resume it is rearranged! I have no control over bullets or the ruler. I can't even find a show/hide button. How can I transfer my info without having to redo it?? a.ayestara
Auto Paragraph Numbering
I've successfully imported a bunch of legal type documents from MsWord. As you can imagine, there is a lot of auto numbered paragraphs....in fact the whole document is often numbered...every clause :-( However I'm suffering a little from not having paragraphs/sub-paragraphs auto-numbered. This would be a useful feature to add to Z Writer. I can see that you support numbered lists. This is fine for simple lists as long as there are no blank lines between the numbers. If there are, the numbering restarts.
Component returned failure error window
I am getting Component returned failure error intermittently while working on Zoho Writer. It happens on both SSL and non-SSL connections. I need to Force Quit Firefox as Firefox completely stops responding once I get this popup window. How Do You Resend An Invitation?
Hello! I sent a read/write invitation for a Writer document to a list of email addresses. None of these people had registered with zoho previously. I'm assuming that when they try to edit the document, they will be prompted to create a zoho account and then will be able to edit the document. Is this correct? Also, some users have deleted the invitation email. How do I resend it to specific users? Finally, if a user says that the link to the document is not "clickable" in the email invitation, what

Upload multiple files at once
I was thinking that it would be really awesome if there was a way to upload multiple files at once. For example, one could put all their doc, html, and sxw files in a single zip file, and then upload it. Then the Zoho server could automatically unzip it and add each one. Does that sound possible/reasonably doable? With the ability to use zip files, I would hope that other compression types such as .tar.gz and others would work as well for us linux users.

Any chance of getting a key command to save a document? Or how about a floating save button that stays closer to where you're entering text? It's a long way up to the Save button when you're on your keyboard. jlhammon

Open Desktop files into Zoho Apps
This feature request applies to Writer, Sheet and any other app that can import files from other software... If you want to be able to eventually act as a replacement for local Office suites, it is extremely important that users (the regular ones) be able to simple double-click on their files in order to open them. Having to log on to a website, select "Import", browse to a folder (especially a network share) and opening it is never going to be acceptable. Granted, it works fine when all your documents
More Issues with Preformatted Text
Once I get a 'pre' element into the HTML, it looks like 'br' elements are inserted for each return entered by the user. There are seem to be some situations where 'span' is inserted. There should be a way to turn these off. alexmilowski
Writer seems to work OK in Chrome Beta
Since I'm so diligent about reporting browser incompatibilities, I thought I would post here to say that so far Zoho Writer loads OK in Chrome Beta. The ability to insert a tab by hitting the Tab key, which was lost in Firefox 3, is OK in Chrome (that was the first thing I checked). Loading and saving both work. If I run into anything unusual I'll report it.

Zoho Spell Checker Issue
I have used your program for two documents. Each time I am only able to run the spell check one time; otherwise, I must close out and come back to run it again. It seems to hang up in some kind of "suspension." Also, several words were not caught, but Blogger caught them with their spell checker. Want document to stay where I was editing
Let's say, I was editing a writing a long document, and my curser was at the end of the document. If I now switch to another browser window, when I switch back to Writer window, I will be shown the beginning of the document. I will have to roll down to find the previous editing location. Importing of Word documents with Equations
So I've been comparing the import capabilities of Zoho and Google docs. Your formating of the text is much better than Google, so big +1 there. However, when importing equations from Microsoft Word to Zoho, it seems that funny symbols like + and = are not properly imported (but it handles fractions just fine). Two questions: 1.
