Tips and Tricks 6: Project sessions to the audience

Hello everyone,

Today we'll see how to project sessions to your audience to keep them visually engaged. To start with, when you're delivering sessions or standing by for upcoming sessions, displaying the slide deck or an intermission screen can keep event participants involved and attentive.

To do this, access the Present Sessions tab from the Conduct dashboard in the Event Console when the event has started. You can view the sessions in the timeline based on the track or the venue it is being presented in.

Once you've set the filters, you can then display session information for the audience by clicking the Open projector icon [

] in the top-left of the timeline. This will open the projector window in your browser and cast any one of the following:

The session that is currently running
A session that coincides with current time in the timeline
The first session that is yet to be presented in the track or venue

After you've finished presenting your session, the projector window will automatically display details of the next item in the timeline. When you start presenting the upcoming session, the projector screen will be updated. This way, you can keep your audience aware of the upcoming sessions.
