Why can't task boards be shared publicly in an External network?

Why can't task boards be shared publicly in an External network?

Greetings Connect Community,

I hope I'm overlooking a setting or something, but it appears I can't share a public, read-only link to a task board in an External Zoho Connect network. We would like the opportunity and ability to make certain task boards publicly available on the web as indicated in the help document linked above. 

Am I missing something?
