Custom Data??
Is there a way in Zoho projects to put custom data? For instance for each project I need to show the customer some information as commodity, dims, weight, origin, destination, customer project #, our internal #, etc.. This information needs to show somewhere in the project so that customer can see this. In crm you can add custom fields however I cannot see this in the projects? I understand that crm and projects should be integrated soon (sometime this year hopefully). Also is there a way to

Opening documents in ZOHO Projects
I've created a couple documents in Zoho projects to put notes. First is there a way to get a notebook in Projects? When I want to go back and edit/open a document is wants to open MS Word locally and save locally. I want to edit the version online and save online. I then found the Firefox plugin hoping that would solve the problem but I don't see any other choice? I need a way to collect and organize notes in a project. Thanks brandklev

How can I make Projects for 2 different companies? Do I have to sing-in with two accounts? The problem is the following: - I have two companies and need to separate them (expecially by naming) - I make project for both - Sometimes I do have the same clients? - I want an overview over all tasks, over both companies What should I do there? Bug in the Date Format Settings
Changed the default Date Format in the settings and now all my dates are screwed up. Try entering a new milestone or date and you will see that it does not keep the date you want. xservice

Moving a task from Milestone to another Milestone
Is there a way to to move a task from milestone's task list to another milestone's? For instance: Milestone 1 task list: A task: Cat Milestone 2 task list: b task Dog How would one go about moving the Task "Dog" from task list b in Milestone 2 to be with Milestone 1, Task list A? Thanks
Locking Zoho sheets
When two persons open a Zoho sheet and work on it at the same time, the latest version gets saved erasing the other persons work. This could be resolved by having real-time updates as in google spreadsheets or by locking the spreadsheet in use when someone is working on it. I believe that the first option is preferable, that way more than one person can work on the same spreadsheet. Thank you Jairo Rodriguez

Calendar management
Hi starting to really dive in to this application. Great stuff !! I am a little stuck with the Calendar for individual projects. How do I remove tasks from the calendar? I have been pecking around for a while but I can not figure out how to delete tasks that I doubled up by mistake. Is there a way to batch edit or delete the entries on the calendar? Show/presentations not well integrated in Projects
Show is not well-integrated into Projects. It should be. You can display, but not edit an uploaded PowerPoint in Show from the Documents tabs in Projects. So far, I have figured out how to manually link to a Show collaboration from the Documents>Links tab, but this is not intuitive. Might I also add that the Address Book does not seem to be integrated either. It should be central to all your services. Thanks. brent_hopkins
editing forum posts
Currently only the forum poster and portal owner can edit a post. It would be nice if Admins and perhaps managers can edit too. For example, what happens if the poster is no longer in the company. Lionel Silva

View of tasks across multiple projects
Hi guys, This is a great tool. We need a calendar view which will show a particular resource's tasks across projects. In other words, all my team members work on multiple projects. I need to be able to see their workload across projects. Without this important feature, it is hard to plan projects. On the other hand, the resource should be able to see in one screen the different tasks he/she needs to perform for different projects. Thanks, IShwar

Better control of Gantt Chart in Zoho Projects
Hello, Our company is a paying customer of Zoho Projects. It seems to me that it would be reasonably simple and VERY important for your customers to be able to have some control over how tasks are displayed in the Gantt Chart mode. Notes on Tasks
Task notes are awful! Without the ability to notify someone I have more work to do finding out if something is being worked on. If you cannot fix them to notify people, please remove them and force us to use forums (which are essentially the same thing with more functionality). Steve Steve Krull

Date format
To fix the date format issue your help guide suggests going to 'More Actions' then 'Applications settings'. When using Zoho sheet, there is no 'Applications settings' button. I have set the general Date Format to dd/mm/yy but when I import spreadsheets they all resort to the mm/dd/yy format. How do I fix this?
Meeting Reminders
When setting up a meeting is there a way to set it so that there are no reminders? I'm trying to show when I'm not in the office and there is no need to be reminded of this. Thanks!
Unable to close task assigned to me due to parent task
Hello, I'm unable to close a task assigned to me, the setup goes something like this: Milestone -Task list --Parent task (owned by person A) ---Task (owned by person B) ---Task (owned by person B) Person B cannot close the tasks assigned to him. It gives an error message "Task cannot be closed. Kindly close all parent task(s) for this task before closing this task." I did not create the tasks, so I'm not even sure how a parent task was created in the first place. I find no mention of it in the Help
Task Export
When I export ALL Tasks/ALL Logins from a project, I am not getting a complete data set. I have tried both CSV & XLS and both fail. The export I am looking at counts 16 open tasks. Browsing the project I count at least 25. Please correct this issue. Steve Krull

have to click the task and navigate to project page to edit. then need go back to edit other tasks. hopefully the task can be edited in "my home" page, much easier Steven

Hi! As all you know, I guess, I love Zoho and your work. I want to suggest you: the first thing we should see when open Zoho Projects must be General on Task and Milestones. You will see: for instance me: I am handling there four kinds of things. 1) Important and urgent things, 2) Important but nor urgent things, 3) Urgent but not important things and 4) Not important and not urgent things.
