Is there a way to predict backlog for projects and to track actual start/finish dates for tasks as compared to planned
Hello, I'm new to project management and zoho projects. I have spent a few hours online watching some videos as well as doing some google searching but have a few questions I have not found the answer to. Is there a way to enter the required milestones, task lists, tasks and subtasks for a project and then come up with an expected project completion date based upon a start date? Is there also a way to work backwards and determine a suggested start date based upon a completion date deadline? (MuchDuplicated tasks not automatically appearing in task list
Last week this featured worked perfectly. It's not working now. 1) I create a task 2) I copy the task, and set the number of copies I want made 3) I get the confirmation that the duplicate copies have been made and then nothing. The newly duplicated tasks don't appear in the left-side-bar task list. If I close out of the task, the tasks don't appear in the list of tasks associated with the project. I have to refresh the task list (by clicking All Tasks) and then the duplicate tasks appear. Any suggestionsDate sorting in Kanban View

Would it be possible to have blueprints applied to a task, even if they did not meet the blueprint requirements when they were first created? I.E. if they are updated and THEN meet the requirement, the blueprint is associated. I have a blueprint which is set to be applied when certain people are assigned a task. I tend to create tasks by clicking the "Add Task" button underneath each Task List in the Task List view. I just give it a title then hit Enter. Hi guys For my ZOHO project, I would like to be able to follow budget consumption. In fact , if I have a budget of 20h for exemple, I would like to be able to follow task hours out of budget. Hi there, Let me start off by saying that the utilization review feature is really excellent. The fact that it updates based on task completion percentage and hours worked is excellent. However, I noticed that the preview of a resource's workload that is displayed in the calendar view when setting task duration does not match the time in the utilization review chart. When using the main task dialog it used to always force the user to enter a start and end date. Today I notice that is no longer the case. I hope that is purposeful and going to stay that way because it is an incredibly welcome addition!Modify width of Name column in Projects tab?
Loving the custom views for the Projects tab. With the fields other than "Project Name", we can modify the field width. Is there a way to modify the width of "Project Name"? There's a lot of valuable space that is just "white space". It would be nice to be able to shorten this field so more fields display on the screen without scrolling. Hi We want to use ZOHO Project for scheduling our technicians. We have maintenance contract with our customers. We schedule interventions on customer sites. So we created projects for each contract and task for interventions. So if a technician need to go to customer I create task and schedule them after depending of availibility. When I need to assign a date I use start Date and due date on the task. But I realized there is no conflict management. I called support and they told me it is not developped.After adding a new issue template and layout, project issues become disabled.
Hi folks, This is a real problems for me right now. I was setting up a new project type for managing our Zoho migration. I created a new issues layout for the project (zohobugs). This was based on the standard layout. As soon as I did that, the project's issues tag became unresponsive. Clicking on it results in no activity. The mobile project app reports the issues are still in the project, but trying to access any issue results in an error. In addition, it is impossible to review the standard issueAbility to filter via search criteria within Task and Calendar view (we use this for content publishing)
We rely on tags for a lot of tasks. Currently Zoho does not have this feature so we create our own eg. #pub (for publish). ie. We "tag" a task name #pub if it is to publish content on a given date. Here is my intended workflow- I have a bunch of IT Projects that require info from the client. I would want to contact the client, tell them about the project, then mark that 'contact' task off in Projects. Timesheet in Zoho Projects helps you big time in entering log hours for the tasks and issues and approving them. Now, with the new Time Log Restriction option, you can set daily and weekly log hour limits. You can restrict users from entering extra log hours than the permissible limit. The limits are restricted to 24 hours per day and 168 hours per week by default based on business hours. I believe that sorting of tasks helps managing the activities in a better fashion. You might second it too . By default, the tasks are listed chronologically. However, you can sort the tasks either by its title, start date, end date, priority, created by and percentage completion. All you have to do is, click the Task Sorting option and select the required criteria.
