Basic customization

With Bigin, you have the flexibility to customize your CRM according to your preferences. You can rename modules and fields, as well as create new fields to match your specific needs. This allows you to make Bigin feel like your own and tailor it to your unique business requirements.

To rename a module

Contacts, Companies and Products modules can be renamed. Let's rename the Products module to "Property".
  1. Go to Settings  and then Fields.
  2. Click the edit icon next to Products module.
  3. Enter the plural and singular forms of the module name as 'Properties' and 'Property'.

  4. Click Save.

To create a field

To accommodate your unique business requirements, Bigin offers custom fields to capture data. For example, the Properties module does not have a field to capture the address of the property so let us create a custom field to add to the existing setup.
  1. Go to Settings  > Fields > Properties.
  2. Click the Customize Fields link at the bottom of the box.
  3. Click +Custom field button.
  4. Enter the field label as 'Address' and choose Text as the field type.
  5. Mark the field as mandatory.
  6. Click Save.
