Candidate Matches
In today's competitive recruitment landscape, finding the right candidates for open positions can be challenging. With Zia's intelligent algorithms, match candidate qualifications with job requirements meticulously. With customizable refinement options, unlock precision and efficiency in your recruitment process. Streamline candidate sourcing by accessing a curated list of qualified candidates matched to your job openings.
Zia assesses the candidate's skills and qualifications against the requirements of the job opening. Additionally, the Refine Match feature further empowers you to narrow down the candidate matches based on specific criteria such as desired skills, keywords, job category, location requirements, and years of experience. This targeted approach helps identify the most suitable candidates. Additionally, you can quickly associate matched candidates with job openings through bulk or individual association options.
Availability
Permissions Required: Only users with the “Associate Candidate to Job Opening” permission can access this feature.
Edition Required: Available for the Professional & Enterprise plans of the Staffing Agency edition and the enterprise plan of the Corporate HR edition of Zoho Recruit as well as for the Zoho One and People Plus users.
Matching Candidates
To match candidates with your job openings,
- Go to the Job Openings module.
- Click on the job opening you want to match candidates with.
- Click on the
button.
A list of candidates that match with the job opening (if any) will be displayed.
Note
- Only a maximum of 20 matching candidates will be displayed.
- Candidates are displayed by the descending order of their Match Score.
- A candidate’s match score is calculated using their Skills and Qualifications.
- Skills have varied importance as some skills are preferred more than others.
- If one or more Primary skills are added to the job opening's Required Skills field, only candidates who have them in their Skill Set field are displayed in the match results.
Quick Associate
- Hover over the candidate's card view and click on the Quick Associate button.
- You can add comments and/or notes in this screen. Click on the Associate button to associate them with the candidate.
Bulk Associate
- In the list of matching candidates, click on the Associate All button to select all the candidates displayed in the list.
- To Select/Unselect the candidates you wish to, click on the checkboxes in their card view and click on Associate Now when you're done.
- Click on the Associate button to associate them with the Job Opening.
- To know more about the candidate, click on the Quick View icon.
- From the candidate record’s quick view, you can perform the following actions:
Refine Candidate Matches
Streamline your candidate search for job openings with the Refine Match feature:
- From the list of matching candidates, click Refine Match.
- Enter relevant keywords, desired skills, work experience, location preferences, and job category to narrow down the matches.
For example, if you're hiring for a role that requires on-site presence, you can refine the matches by specifying the city, state, or country where the job is located. This ensures that you only see candidates who are either currently residing in or willing to work in that location, making it easier to identify suitable candidates who can easily commute or relocate. - Click Search to execute the refined candidate matching.
- Associate the most suitable candidates with open job positions from the refined matches.
- You can clear or edit the Refine Match criteria at any time to align the matches with your requirements.
- Edit Refined Match: Use this option to modify the existing refinement criteria like keywords, skills, experience, location, or job category. Zia will then update the matches based on your revised preferences.
- Clear Refined Match: This option reverts to the original set of matches provided by Zia's algorithm before any refinement criteria were applied.
Prerequisites
- Before you start matching candidates with your Job Openings , make sure that;
- You have candidate records present in your Zoho Recruit database.
- Your candidate records match with the job opening’s domain and industry.
For example, if your job opening is for a Software Developer and all your candidates have skills related to Sales & Marketing, Zia would be unable to find any matches. - The Skill Set you’ve associated with the Job Opening has skills defined as “Primary” rather than “Secondary” in order to get candidate suggestions from Zia.
