Import contacts from Zoho Backstage

Sync your Zoho Campaigns account with Zoho Backstage and import your contacts and event attendees from Zoho Backstage into Zoho Campaigns. Send your event related email campaigns and promote all your events using Zoho Campaigns. 

Learn how to integrate with Zoho Backstage

 Sync setup  

  1. From the Navigation toolbar, click Contacts and then Sync Services.

  2. Click Setup icon in Zoho Backstage.

  4. Under Instant Sync, you can configure two types of sync,   
    Yet to check in - To import attendees who have registered for your event but have not checked in yet.
    Checked in - To import attendees who have already checked in to your event.
  5. After deciding the type of sync, click Proceed.
  6. In Setup page, enter the following data,
    1. Choose the events you want to sync under Backstage Events. Ensure to enable the Include future events checkbox to sync all the future events.
    2. Choose the mailing lists you want to sync.
    3. If your contacts cancel from an event, you can choose to keep them in your mailing list, remove them from your mailing list or delete those contacts.
    4. Choose custom tag or event specific tags to associate with your contact.

  7. Click Next.

 

 Field mapping 

You can map Backstage fields with Zoho Campaigns fields. Basic fields like first name, last name and email address are pre-mapped. Click Map more to map additional fields.
To add a new custom field in Zoho Campaigns while mapping the fields, enable New Fields option under Map more fields. Click Initiate.

  Edit Instant Sync

  1. From the Navigation toolbar, click Contacts and then Sync Services.
  2. Click Setup icon in Zoho Backstage.
  3. Under Instant Sync,
    Click Edit icon in the required sync to edit Sync setup.

Import Reports 

1. From the Navigation toolbar, click Contacts and then Sync Services.
2. Click Setup icon in Zoho Backstage.
3. Under Instant Sync, click View Reports button.

Status

Description

  Subscribed contacts

Contacts added to the mailing list.

  Ignored contacts

Contacts which are not added to mailing list. 

  Unsubscribed contacts

Contacts which are removed from the mailing list. (Cancelled contacts) 

  Deleted contacts 

Contacts which are removed from Zoho Campaigns. (Cancelled contacts)
