Having a hard time with the global search placement in the UI redesign. Surely I can't be the only one.

Previously global search placement was perfect. A bar at the top/center of the page. Exactly where you would expect it to be. 

Since the new UI has been in place, global search has moved to a red icon in an arbirary place on the left pane of the screen. Worse still, there is a seperate "search" icon that filters the module list. 

This needs attention; I continually get asked by the user base where the global search feature has gone. This should be more intuitive. My vote is to:

- Put global search at the TOP left OR move it back to the top center

- Make the distinction between "module search" and "global search" clearer

This user went to the trouble of making a thread to ask where the global search feature is: Where is the Global Search field? 

It should not be this difficult to locate.
