Zoho FSM Assign request to a technician

Dear Community,

I’m exploring whether Zoho FSM allows requests to be automatically assigned to the technician responsible for a specific asset. The reason for this is that different technicians specialize in different types of equipment. When a request is created, the person initiating it may not have the expertise to diagnose the issue or determine the necessary service and parts required.

Has anyone implemented a similar workflow or have suggestions on how to achieve this?

Additionally, when the technician is assigned the request, can it appear on their dashboard and trigger notifications on their mobile app and email?
