zoho One authentification sends SMS to former phone number

As admin I changed the phone number of an employee on her zoho one account. Unfortunately, zoho authentification still asks the user for a code sent to the former phone number. The user deleted the browser cache several times, but we have no idea why zoho authentificator still uses the former phone number. It's not saved in any zoho app anymore.

How can this employee use her new phone number for the code?
She does not want to use an authentificator app.
