Custom Fields Not Showing Up
I added some custom fields to my invoice template in Zoho Books, but when I open the mobile app and try to create an invoice the custom fields are not showing.
Half-way through my trial, want to delete and start over
So, how do I delete my company from Books and start over? I have a paid CRM account and I don't want to kill that.
Income Accounts
I'm new to Zoho Books and need a little help setting up income accounts. How do I specify the income account to which revenue posts (when receiving invoice payment)? Right now everything posts to "Sales" (except one random invoice, which for no apparent reason, posted to "Unearned Income"???). Breaking Bank Deposits
I deposit multiple customer checks into my bank at a time. Is there a way to break up the deposit in zoho books so as I can assign the correct amount to each customer invoice? As I process the bank transactions in zoho books this comes in as one transaction? Any suggestions.
Merging Payments Recorded for Bills and/or Expenses
I have a couple of questions (in bold). I just started using Zoho Books and just got done entering all of my bills and expenses since the beginning of the year. I also manually applied the payments to them from the appropriate accounts. When I went into my Bank Accounts to reconcile those transactions with what is showing in there it looks like it MAY be showing the payment twice (my manual entry of payment and the one that automatically came through with the feed). At least that is what it looks
Email statements blocked by Google
When we email statements from the new interface to clients who use Gmail or Google Apps, the messages are being returned with the following error. Bulk Printing now available in Zoho Books

I have the paper size set to letter, but there is so much spacing between the line item and the total section and then a big gap between the total and the terms and conditions that it rolls over to two pages. Is there anything I can do to fix that?

What is the difference between bills and expenses in regard to recurring payments?
Can you define the difference between bills and expenses in particular with regard to recurring payments? For example, how do you treat the following items: Set monthly broadband amount paid by direct debit automatically from bank account. Monthly hosting/servers payments Payments to contractors. I am trying to create a new item with pricing in an alternative currency instead of the base currency but Zoho Books won't let me do it. Is there a way to go around this?
Invoice Detail Report in New Books
Hi, I really like the revised Zoho Books. Thank you for making Purchase Orders a part of the release! One thing I noticed that might be a bug -- when you run the invoice detail report, the only way to get a partially paid invoice to show is by selecting "ALL". Since it is not fully paid, I expect it to show up if you select Sent or Overdue. I have a customer that paid a deposit for an order and the balance is due. I want the balance to show up on the report without showing ALL of the invoices.
Other Reliability does not show in the list
Hello Zoho Books Team, We we go to "Chart of Account", add a new account under "Other Reliability", it does not show in the drop down menu when we create a bill. At the same time, whatever bill we add under "Other Current Reliability" is always shown

New Version
I am using the new version of books. How do I change an invoice from draft to open or active?
New Books does not offer Shipping Address Change on the fly
This is a heads up to new comers and those that have not tested the new version out yet. The nw version of Books does not allow for changing or adding a different shipping address for a customer. This is frustrating: Anyone that works with customers that order but, have the order shipped to a new address will have to change the customer contact information every time. This is crazy and will cause shipping mistakes to occur. I do not know why this was taken out but it needs to be added back in.
Online payment option in email even if none selected
For invoices that we email to customers. The email template includes the line "View your invoice then make an easy online payment." If an online payment option is not selected for the invoice when we create it, the email still includes this link even though we are not allowing them to pay online. Removing the text from the invoice template is not an option because we include online payment for SOME invoices. Booking Liability
When I borrow loans from Banks or someone, I record it as liability and I add it to the watch-list but when I pay it back it still keep showing and not cleared. I need a way to record a loan and it shows as liability but once paid I need it automatically removed from the liability list and doesn't show as liability
No more html custom Invoices or estimate templates.
They just updated zoho books last week without really telling anybody. One thing I noticted is they took away the ability to edit invoice/estimate templates in html. You would think they would warn you about taking his feature away. Long time zoho user, but im starting to question their business model. How do you just take away a feature and not tell anybody?

New Zoho Books interface
I am using the new Zoho Books interface now. For feeds from financial institutions, I don't see the "amount at bank" vs "amount at Zoho Books" anymore? So how do I know the account is reconciled if I do not know the balance in Zoho Books is equal to the balance at bank? This is disappointing.
Automatic feed refreshes
I would recommend that Zoho Books allows users to set up frequencies of feed refreshes, and when there are new items to be reconciled, email the users to log in to reconcile the books. Currently there is no such feature, and every time I want new data, I have to manually push "refresh" for each financial institution set up. Thanks.
Timesheet/Projects/Tasks
I need to track simple projects, tasks, and invoice them. Zoho Books provides everything I need for this except being able to assign tasks to staff with due dates. I know Zoho Projects handles this requirement, but it is more complicated than we actually wanted or needed. Invited google app user need to create new organization after login
I add user from google apps account, and invited user also get the invite e-mail. They try to login, but Zoho show the new create organization page, not direct to my organization. The support told me that invited user has account before, need to delete account. I also login to account.zoho.com, and click delete account. After let them login again, it still show create new organization. Please suggest. It happened both zoho invoice and zoho books.
