Automatic Hebrew Small Talk Setup Without Duplicate Term Errors & Manual Configuration

Automatic Hebrew Small Talk Setup Without Duplicate Term Errors & Manual Configuration

Dear Zoho SalesIQ Team,

Greetings,

We would like to request an enhancement to the Small Talk feature in Zoho SalesIQ, specifically for Hebrew language support.

Current Challenge:

When setting up Small Talk for Hebrew, we encounter multiple issues:

  • Simple greetings or questions in Hebrew (e.g., "שלום" / hello, "מה שלומך?" / how are you?) return the default error message "I'm sorry I haven't been able to find any resource to help you", even though equivalent English phrases work as expected.

  • The recommended approach is to click the ellipsis icon, choose Small Talk, and upload the Hebrew small talk content.

  • However, when trying to save the Hebrew version, the system throws duplicate term errors such as:

    • "Duplicate term present in request : יש לי בעיה"

    • "Duplicate term present in request : אני צריך עזרה"

  • These errors occur even when using the automatic translation setup provided by the platform.

  • We must manually search for and remove duplicate terms before we can use Hebrew small talk, which is tedious and prone to oversight.

Feature Request:

Please enhance the Hebrew small talk experience as follows:

  1. The automatic Hebrew small talk generation process should automatically check for and resolve duplicate terms during translation, eliminating the need for manual cleanup.

  2. Hebrew small talk should be preconfigured and available in the backend by default, just like English small talk, so admins don’t need to manually set it up at all.

  3. Once enabled, the Hebrew small talk set should work immediately out-of-the-box without errors, similar to the seamless experience when conversing with AI platforms like ChatGPT, where small talk is handled automatically in the backend.

Use Case:

  • Ensures Hebrew-speaking visitors can enjoy a natural and smooth small talk experience without setup errors.

  • Removes the need for manual configuration, saving time and effort.

  • Improves consistency and localization quality across multiple languages.

We believe implementing this would make the Hebrew small talk experience much more user-friendly and reliable.

Thank you for your consideration.

Warm regards,
Ram
