Updates on remote work using Zoho Meeting

Hi there,
We hope that this post finds you in good health. Around the world, our fellow humans are fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, and businesses are doing their best to protect employees by adopting safe work-from-home policies. On our end, we are gearing up every day to help businesses operate as close to normal as possible by offering tips on how Zoho Meeting can help them work remotely.

Video conferencing in the beta version

Since more teams have started working remotely during this global crisis we are planning to provide video conferencing with multi-video feed in Zoho Meeting. This feature is currently available in our beta version. If you would like to try this feature, please write to us at support@zohomeeting.com

Zoho Remotely, our new suite of apps

As you may already know, all our employees at Zoho have been working remotely since March 5th, 2020. The whole of Zoho runs entirely on Zoho apps. As we work from home just like you, we understand your needs to keep your business running at this time of crisis. Therefore, we're offering you Zoho Remotely, a suite of apps including Zoho Meeting and nine other apps that will help you communicate, collaborate, and work remotely. You can use Zoho Remotely for free until July 1, 2020, by which time we hope that the end will be in sight for this crisis.

iOS app updates

Before I end this post, let me share some of the updates to our iOS app over the last month:
  • The CallKit framework is now utilized (in all regions except China) so that switching between incoming phone calls and the Zoho Meeting app works seamlessly
  • Webinar presenters can now display poll results to their attendees from iOS devices
  • Other bug fixes and enhancements

More servers to support remote work

We have also increased the number of servers to support the load of teams across the globe who are now depending on online meetings for remote work. This includes new servers in London, the Netherlands, Germany, Singapore, Mumbai, and Chennai.

We'll soon be hosting webinars on how to use Zoho Meeting to work remotely. For updates, make sure to check our upcoming webinars page

We wish you good health and prosperity.
