As part of our continued efforts to improve the mobile CRM experience, we've rolled out a few new updates to the Zoho CRM iOS app. Here's a quick overview of what's new:
- Kiosk support
- Built-in telephony support with Zoho Voice and RingCentral
- Extended time limit for voice notes and voice-to-text
- Deep linking support for WhatsApp
Kiosk support
Kiosk is a no-code tool in Zoho CRM that lets you create a guided, step-by-step interface to follow your processes and collect data. Once you've set up a Kiosk flow in the Zoho CRM web app, you can associate it with the following areas to access it in the iOS app:
Blueprint
Record detail view
Custom buttons
Canvas
Built-in telephony support with Zoho Voice and RingCentral
Users can be part of only one telephony account at a time.
In addition to built-in calling options, the iOS app now supports Zoho Voice and RingCentral as external telephony providers. Once you've set up your preferred provider in the Zoho CRM web app, you can use it from the mobile app as well.
When placing a call from a record, you'll be able to choose from the telephony providers you've selected.
To select your telephony providers
- Open the Zoho CRM iOS app.
- Tap the More icon (
) > Settings (
). - Navigate to Calls and Messages > Calls and Messages Preferences.
- Under the Call Providers section, you'll see a list of telephony services integrated through the Zoho CRM web.
- Toggle ON "Allow sharing phone number to selected apps" while placing calls and messages.
- Select the provider you want to use when making calls from the app.
Make sure your provider's app is installed and you're signed in on your device.
Extended time limit for voice notes and voice-to-text
In the Zoho CRM iOS app, you can add notes using voice input either as voice notes or by converting them to text. Previously, the time limit for adding voice-based notes was two minutes. The time limit is now extended to five minutes.
Deep linking support for WhatsApp Business messaging
Users can now open WhatsApp chats directly from CRM records by tapping the phone numbers deep-linked in any of the following places:
Business cards
Details pages
More options > Send text message > WhatsApp
Note: Make sure the Business WhatsApp app is installed and signed in on your device.
