Zoho Developer Hangout (ZDH) - Episode 3 | Building Custom Functions and Automation Designs



We're happy to introduce the third episode of Zoho Developer Hangout, where our developer community members come together to discuss the automation capabilities and integration between Zoho applications and other third-party applications.

 

In this episode, our community member, Christopher Mowers, Zoho Developer Team Lead at AspenTech CRM, explains the most important aspect of coding, i.e. automation design. He provides a live demonstration highlighting the difference between a standard function and one that adheres to best design principles. Through this demonstration, Chris shares insights on the considerations one should make before writing Deluge code and offers best practices for efficient execution without compromising optimization.

Christopher has a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Davenport University. He specialized in Database and Data analytics, and graduated with the highest honour. In addition to his work at AspenTech, Christopher is a member of the Adjunct Faculty at Henry Ford College in Dearborn, MI, and is now pursuing an M.S. in computer science from the University of Texas at Austin. Christopher became a Zoholic while working as Director of Operations in the retail sector, where he developed a strong interest in improving operational processes for business.
