Deduplicate Records
I have a mySQL table that will have duplicate records show up occasionally. Is there an easy way to merge these records according to a specific criteria (some duplicates are actually desired in certain columns but not in others) so a chart report won't show the duplicates? Thanks!
Exclude Statement for Query
I have a database that contains data by session: Fall I 2010 Fall II 2010 Spring I 2010 Spring II 2011 Summer 2011 Fall I 2011 I have no trouble writing a query in order to collect all of the data by session and then of course grouping it by say website or market and I even know how to write a query to create a formula such as "clicks/impressions" = CTR. It's all great. EXCEPT....I want to be able to group the first five listed above to give myself totals and to give myself an accurate CTR. I

Identifying dependent objects
Hi, I tired to delete a table in Z Reports and I received a caution saying that one or more dependent views exist for this table. However, there is no option to list the child views so I can delete the the dependent objects to ensure there are no orphan objects in my repository. Is there way to find out or list the dependency/parent-child object relationships from base tables to queries to reports and views? It would be useful for data lineage as well. Cheers Sunil

Pivot table metric functions not mirrored in charts
Hi, I noticed in the pivot table report, there are a plethora of functions such as % of total, % difference and so on that is available for reporting. However, the very same metric functions are not available in charts. I have attached a screenshot of a pivot table showing % of region sales out of total sales. Nested SELECTs aren't supported. Query over Query aren't allowed more then 3 times. What shall we do?
Dear Zoho Reports Team, Thank you for the great product! Unfortunately, your SQL dialect lacks one of the most important things: nested SELECTs. When i realized that i was disappointed. Then i found a workaround: make a SELECT and save it as query table, then make a new query table and select from the first query table. Everything was going correct until i got an error: "The above query cannot be saved, a maximum of 3 levels of Query over Query tables only allowed." That's a pity. That's frustrating.
User Filter Glitch
I am developing a chart where I need the user to be able to filter by month. No problem, I've added that filter, BUT unfortunately when the user selects "All" the filter only grabs the data that is similar in each month, rather than pulling all of the data than filtering. For example. I have my chart build to show impressions by keyword. Then I have user filter's placed for Brand, Campaign, Ad Group, Impressions (Top 5, Top 10, Top 25). This works great when only one month is pulled at a time

Hi, I created a simple area chart using the name of months along the X-axis and the min, max and average sales figures along the Y-axis. I have hit a brick wall and I seem to need Javascript, but can't see how I can get it to work. I want to try and overcome the limitation of the dashboard feature that you can't filter all reports in a dashboard from a single filter option. I need this function. I want to create a multi level dashboard for my users. Right now I can create a kind of two level dashboard - as optionally - its possible to go from a chart to its underlying data. But lets say I had a pie chart which shows the sales by all regions. I want to be able to click on any region (say Europe) and go to a new dashboard which has the right data. For some reason when I'm publishing a URL / Permalink for this view, it no longer gives me the option to allow for link access without login. And now, my charts are no longer showing up in my dashboard created where it calls the individual charts through a www frame. Can you help me? Thanks, Jamie

User Filters
I have created a chart that shows the TOP FIVE KEYWORDS for a SEM campaign by click. No problem to do this, and the chart looks great. However, other fields in the database include "Campaign" and "Ad Group" and I would like to allow the user to select the "campaign" and "ad group" to see the TOP FIVE KEYWORDS by each combination. Export Chart as Image without ToolBar
Hi, I want to display my chart embedded on my WebSite and give possibility to export it as Image, however I only get it if I set Display Toolbar = True on publish options. The problem is: When Toolbar is visible the user can change chart type. I don't want this. I know that exists the option to publish as an image, but If I do this, I lose interactivity on chart. Reports causing mass duplication
I am simply trying to run a query on our existing accounts with the following columns: Account Name Status Account Size Support Level DSM Status Account Person When I generate this report it's taking my 1101 clients and saying there are 1950 clients. When I look at the report, a bunch of the clients are listed more than one time (sometimes up to 6). What am I doing wrong that's generating all these duplicates? I went into the accounts section and none of these accounts are listed twice.

Query Table Deactivated
When trying to use a query table I am seeing the following error: This query table is deactivated and cannot be saved or refreshed. Kindly Upgrade your plan to create and use more query tables This is in a database that had been downgraded to a free account and all previous tables etc deleted.
