I notice from a July 2008 posting that you have on your roadmap, the ability to print individual letters with respective contact information already in the letter -- either using MS Word or your own wordprocessing application. User not logged in problem
For almost 2 weeks I have been trying to work on a document in Zoho Writer, but I am continually unable to save my work or make any changes. Why? Because I continually get "User not logged in. Problem saving document" error message.I have sent you email to report the problem, but received no response.It seems your service is simply not good enough for my needs. Good luck competing with Google.
Indented Paragraphs
HI, I am new to zoho so perhaps some kind person will just point me in the right direction. I upload a document (ODT) which had some formatted C code in, for example, size_t strlen ( const char * source) { // some code } However this gets transferred into size_t strlen ( const char * source) { // some code } i.e. no initial spaces. Which makes the code much harder to understand. Thanks in advance PS I do not use initial tabs only spaces.
Word Extension: Ctrl+S
I'm using Zoho through Word with the extension. The CTRL+S only saves the local Word copy? So, is there a shortcut to save the ZOHO copy, rather than navigating through the Zoho Writer menu? Ideally, I'd like CTRL+s to save the local Word copy AND the Zoho editio copies simultaneously. Many thanks, John

Zoho.Office offline login or .... My Zoho login identification
Hi, thank you again for your products and sites I know, the question can be strange, please let me introduce my situation. I have downloaded Zoho.Offline and I cannot login in my Zoho Office account throught Zoho.Offline (but I can throught the website). When I sign with Zoho, I used my 'Gmail account' so I did not know my login. As Zoho.Offline login, I use my Gmail login and password... it does not work. And in Zoho.Offline login screen, there is not button 'Login Gmail' Thank for any help Best

Insertion of images in text never completes succesfully
Hi all, I am trying to insert images in a blank text (or any other text, for that matter) and after the (apparent) upload of the image, the text stays blank, with no image being displayed. Since it is happening in both Firefox and IE (and Maxthon) on my workstation, I believe that the problem is related to something installed and configured locally. Is there any kind of debug procedure, any log to watch, that you guys could recommend ? Thanks Marcio
Formattted Seems Broken
Every time I selected a chunk of text (e.g. example xml) to format as "Formatted" to get an HTML 'pre' element wrapper, the element does not get inserted. If I then go to the source, enter the 'pre' element manually, and the switch back to the formatted view, it shows up as "Formatted" and everything works fine. alexmilowski
Feedback: Document disappears with Command-left arrow
On a Mac: when I press Command-left arrow, the text disappears from screen. It's not gone; it just doesn't show. When I go to "Print preview and back to "Page view", the text reappears. Annoying when you want to jump to the beginning of a line.

PDF not working

Header Borders not visible in Print and in PDF View
Hi, I want to make a template with a 2 column header on an A4 Document in FireFox.. The header should have Lines around Box and Image Right. In Page View all looks good but the Print Preview and the pdf Export doesnt show any border lines. What is a) the Problem ? b) the Workaround?

I noticed that there is an RSS feed for published documents but as far as I see it notifies you for newly added documents by a user not on changes on the specific document?
Finding your documents
Hello, I am new to zoho writer. I just noticed that it only shows 12 documents on the left pane even if more documents fit. Anyway to list more? I can see me having trouble finding my documents, how do you organize them for easy find? A place to see a list of all of them would be really nice Also, I tried to use one documen with links to the rest of the documents but to make the link work you need to right click and select 'check link' What are strategies to stay organized with Zoho writer?
spell check button not visible in writer tool bar
using firefox v.5.3.2 on imac. spell check button not present on editor tool bar today (only one row of buttons visible). this function okay a couple of days ago.
Problems importing complex Word 2003 documents
Have submitted feedback already, but raising this issue for discussion - some of the more complex documents I have in Word 2003 don't import properly, pictures (jpgs, gifs) don't show up; format of document is altered, mostly in fonts. I have been able to reformat the document though. Do you support tables yet? Or any plans to support tables?

Tiny type when I print from Writer
I'm writing an on-air piece for the TV station I work at, extolling the virtues of Zoho! But I'm a bit bummed at my first experience in trying to print a script I typed in 12-point Arial - the darn thing prints out in what appears to be about 8-point type, if not smaller! Great eyesight test but not what I was hoping for;-/ Any idea what I might be doing wrong? Or is the print side of things still being worked on. Spell Checker deletes my sentence?!!?!?!
Why does the spell checker underline the whole sentence when only one word is spelled wrong? Once I click to correct the word, it corrects it but deletes the rest of my sentence! Help?!
ZOHO writer testing
I am testing ZOHO writer to inroduce it in my class. documents are mixed together !?
I've been having trouble with one of my document recently. The equation editor was acting weird and the equation were disappearing. Now, this document is all corrupt and the pictures and equations are mixed together, enlarge and distorted. Now I just realized that the picture and equation are not only mix inside the document they are mixed with other document as well. I just open and old document that I haven't use for a while and now the equations and figures from the old document have been replaced

decrease indent doesn't always work on item in list
When I want to decrease the indent on the items in a list this doesn't work sometimes. Increase works on any arbitrary listitem as it is supposed to. So sometimes I can even increase an item in a list but not decrease it. I thought the problem only occured on the last item in a list, but this is not te case. This is rather annoying when one wants to append a new parent listitem. Since I can't simply press return on the last listitem and decrease it to the required level. The workaround I'm using

Roll-Back of extensions
For the ease of users and to maintain the continuity, it would be better if the option extension is rolled back on mouse-out event. for eg. In Insert option of writer when the option with extensions are selected it stays on until the user selects other parent option, so in this case if its rolled back when the Mouse is out, it sends a better feel good message.
Bug on copy and paste with firefox
For these days, it happens that the short key Ctrl C/Ctrl V generate a troubleshooting. I have to leave my session and renew my login. I work with firefox. Thanks

writer tags don't show in Zoho docs view
Tags created in writer don't show up in Zoho docs tag view. it works the other way around with tags created in docs view showing up in writer.
Grrr. Everytime I change the font size, it reverts back.
I'm trying to get 12 pt Times New Roman, but everytime I do, it reverts back to verdana. HELP!! xD
ToC loses indentation when exported to PDF
As seen in the attachments, the Table of Contents loses its indentation when it is exported into a PDF document.
zoho writer html view
i use google chrome i open a new writer document i go to html view i get a window with body head and css the code is writen in grey color and i cant edit the code i can select it but not add new or edit any code so whats the use of html view???
more functions
maybe more functions as in SciWriter would be nice as more different kind of headings :) a placeable toc and footnotes :) different sections and all the grat stuff in this application which also supports latex ;) and much more take a view on it and get some inspiration ;)
TOC and placing
Is it purposedly so that I can't put the table of content anywhere else than in the start of the document? If so, it probably would be wise to enable the possibility of placing it at any place preferred, example after the title page.
