Open Writer in two different browser tabs.
I have found that you can have Writer open in two different browser tabs. You start up Writer as usual, then open another browser tab, and go to zoho.com and the Writer opens up there, without losing it from the first browser tab. You can switch back and forth using shift-tab. I find this very useful. For one, I can have different files open in each browser tab. A nice thing is that if I am working on a file in one browser tab, and switch to the a file in the other tab, when I switch back to the
document list bug
I have a number of folders. When I click on one to open it, I get a list of the docs in that folder and also there are a number of lines of blank space below this. The problem is that it opens up all the way down at the bottem of the blank space, so that often one or more of the docs at the top is not included, and I have to scroll up to get them. By the way, I see you now have single sign on for the forums, so I don't have to log in again after I log in to Writer. That's a nice improvement. Also,
searching multiple documents
Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but it would be really nice if there were a way to search the content of multiple documents, i.e. _all_ the docs in the My Docs, instead of searching each doc (individually) for a character string. malmo.plin

Two points about the gui: I think the up and down navagation triangle pointers in the window that lists your documents are too small, and too close together. I say that because it is not easy for me to get the mouse cursor on them. regarding the list of buttons in the statusbar: Document Information, Search, Tags, and Shared Info. I bet that people use the Search button at least ten times more often than any of the others. For that reason I think it should be easier to find with your cursor. Instead
HELP- work lost for no apparent reason!!
I was working on a document last night and when I came to access it this morning there are over 1000 words missing. I was saving regularly and made sure to save before I logged off last night but the last hour of saves has gone. PLEASE could anyone advise me?? I have tried reverting to previous saves but they are all correct, its just the last hour or so worth that is just vanished!! VERY stressed!!
problem importing content for txt file

Problem with rtf files
Hi, The rtf file which was working earlier now shows some chars as in screenshot.When i click on spell check it says "ENTER THE NAME OF THE DOCUMENT" for rtf files. Iam using this in my application.Please help me fix this.

Zoho for mobile devices, or for the Nintendo DS?
I was looking for a online word processor for several reasons, one so I can have access to my work where ever I go and two so I can edit it from any computer. Unfortunately Zoho doesn't work on some mobile devices. You may think this odd but I use my nintendo ds to access the web when I am not at home. When I go to try and login I can't log in. I would like to share multiple documents with multiple people, how do I do this with out having to send each person a bunch of share invite emails. Is there a way that I can share the documents but still allow them access to edit and save without them having to enter into each document individually through the invite share email???

lengthening the zohowriter page
Usually the browser allows you to see the screen in the full monitor screen, or else as a small window that has adjustable corners and sides. In zohowriter, that doesn't seem to be the case. I want to see more of the page I am working on. I try F11, and that gives me more room at the bottom, but the zohowriter window is not adjustable in length. Any suggestions? stedawa

What is the equivalent to MS Word margin of 1 inch in Soho Writer which uses PX as a margin. When I export to MS Word the margins are messed up.

Firefox reversibility 2.0.0.7 in writer
1. If one looks at the view source in writer there is javascript code AFTER the end html tag.. is this on purpose? 2. In Firefox, if one selects a number of lines of text (with end of lines) and presses center, it centers. However pressing the Left align button only affects the first line. In the FAQ under "How do I organize my documents in folders?" it says "Tag similar documents and have such a tag added on the left panel by clicking on the particular tag and selecting "Add to left panel" option (having a tag as a folder)." However, the option actually reads "Add as Folder" Also, it would be really, really, really useful if you could search for multiple tags with an inclusive "both/and" for the tags, ie, search for tags that say both "PROJECT" AND "UPDATE" and get every document
Characters appear and are deleted very slowly
Not really a bug, but I find Zoho Writer almost impossible to use because characters appear on the screen so slowly after being typed and backspace-deleting is similar in that characters get deleted at a snail's pace. I very much want to move over from Google Docs, but this makes it difficult. Is this slow speed normal? Is there any way to tweak it? If it is normal, will it be getting faster over the coming months? I'm using Ubuntu + Firefox.
Unable to import content with remote api
I'm able to load files into sheet just fine, but writer doesn't like it for some reason. Maybe it can't handle the large file size? It's about 1m. Characters get inserted into filename
Great product, and potentially very useful. An issue though: I have had characters added to the file name - in the place of spaces between words, it now has "%25252520". This has happened to one of My Docs. Yesterday it happened to a Shared Doc, then it mysteriously came right. Any idea what's happening? I can't find a "Rename" function - is there one (perhaps it would this mess up the collaboration). I'm using IE6.0, though a corporate firewall. Grateful for any advice, thanks.
Printing
I like your online word processor. I can print by first choosing Preview and clicking the print link. I cannot print by clicking the print icon when the document is in edit mode, even if I save it first. I am using Firefox 2 on Mac OS 10.3.9. In Zoho Writer, I have created a table. One of my reviewers placed comments at the beginning of the text in two cells in the left-most column. I am no longer able to edit those two cells and can find no way to delete the comments. Marbux
