Custom From Address is now Organizational Email

Custom From Address is now Organizational Email

We're introducing a small yet meaningful change in Zoho Recruit, one that sets the foundation for bigger improvements coming your way.

What’s changed?

We’ve renamed the Custom From Address to Organizational Email. The new name was chosen to better reflect how recruitment teams actually use it, i.e., to send emails from a common, branded address like careers@yourcompany.com instead of personal inboxes.

Why this change?

The term Custom From Address didn’t clearly convey its purpose, especially for new users. Organizational Email clarifies that this is a shared address that represents your company and not an individual sender.

This small shift in naming helps us lay the groundwork for a more collaborative and brand-consistent email experience inside Zoho Recruit.

What Organizational Email Helps You Do

With Organizational Email, your recruitment team can send all communication from a single, shared email address that reflects your brand, like careers@yourcompany.com for example. This helps maintain consistency, improve deliverability, and present a unified front to candidates and stakeholders.

A couple of quick use cases:
  • Candidate Communication
Instead of candidates receiving interview details from five different recruiter addresses, they receive all updates from hiring@zylker.com, reducing confusion and boosting trust.
  • Automated Workflows
Set up your default organizational email as the sender for offer letters, interview invites, or follow-up alerts. This ensures each automated messages carries your brand identity.

Where can I use Organizational Email?

You can use it as the From address in:
  • One-to-one emails
  • Workflow email alerts
  • Interview invites
  • Offer letters
  • Client submission emails & more!

Got any questions or suggestions?

We’d love to hear how you’re using Organizational Email—or what could make it even more useful for your team. Refer to our help article for step-by-step instructions.

Feel free to drop your thoughts in the comments or reach out to us at support@zohorecruit.com if you need help getting things configured.

Regards,
Team Zoho Recruit
