Use Zoho to send sales receipts for Gocardless transactions

I've been using gocardless for years and have d/d mandates set up on there. Each week we get bulk payments from customer d/d's.

However, we need to send sales receipts to these customers.

So I know I can sync mandates into Zoho, and then I can set up recurring invoices to send invoices and auto-charge customer.

The issue is I don't want to bill customers twice - ie. take payments from gocardless in bulk AND take payments via the recurring invoices.

What's the best way to handle this? I don't want to cancel mandates in gocardless either because customers obviously won't sign up right away.

Just need a way that we can trigger sales receipts (recurring invoices I suppose) and then mark them as paid automatically somehow..
