Weekly Tips: Don't Delete, Just Archive

Weekly Tips: Don't Delete, Just Archive

For a business that relies heavily on email for communication, a cluttered inbox can be quite challenging to manage. Some emails can take up significant space in your inbox, making it difficult to navigate to other important emails. While these emails may not require immediate attention, they also cannot be deleted. So, what can be done to handle such emails?

You can use Zoho Mail's Email Archive feature to temporarily archive emails, which will remove those emails from the email listing.

Email Archive

The Email Archive feature in Zoho Mail provides a dedicated Archive folder where all archived emails are stored, making it easier to organize your inbox and keep important emails accessible. You can also create Custom Archive Policies with specific conditions to automate the archiving process. This makes it easier for reference and retrieval. The emails deleted from Archive are not permanently deleted and can be recovered from Trash.

How to Archive Emails

  1. Log into your Zoho Mail account.
  2. You can select the emails you want to Archive from the email listing.
  3. Click the Archive option available in the top pane.
  4. This action removes the emails from the listing and moves them to the Archive Folder by default.

Note:

The Archive action does not reduce the used storage of your account, as the emails still remain in your account.
