Tips and Tricks 06: Enrich your on-demand sessions with a wide variety of training content

Self-paced learning, with access to easily-digestible and effective content any time, anywhere, is key to empowering your learners. So, when you have your training session ready to go, and you’re eager to get out there and start sharing your expertise, the next question is: how? What can I use to deliver all that information?

 

Zoho ShowTime supports a variety of content types, such as PDFs, videos, and more,., so you can choose the medium that best suits the learning needs of your students. From lecture-based instructional videos to infographics and animations, combining compelling audio and visual teaching elements is a great way to leave a lasting impression on students.

 

If you already have existing content you want to add to your training course—such as a training manual in PDF form—you can easily upload it to your on-demand training sessions. This is useful for enriching the online student experience and making your materials more accessible in some cases, such as if your students cannot open PDF files on their local device. 

 

How to add multiple materials to your On Demand Session:

 

1.Create a session, then choose your Session Material under the Session Details tab. 

2. Under Session Details, click the Upload from computer link and select a file, such as a video or PDF, from your device. Or, click Pick material from library to import something from your media library.You can also preview and edit any materials you add to your training course.

 

Your learners can view the list of available course materials once they join your training session, and then can access and learn from these materials at their own pace.

 

The on-demand training system offers a strategic advantage for busy trainees who have limited time to learn. Implementing an on-demand training program with multiple materials is a proven way to offer continuing education in a world that seeks convenience.
