Check-in and out - Any way to exclude certain users?
At the present time, we only want to use the attendance features to track hours for a few hourly employees, and to track vacation time. We do not want to have our salaried employees have to check in and out. However, if they do not, then our reports are filled with a bunch of absents. To resolve this problem, is there any way to (a) exclude certain users from the check-in and out features, or (b) make certain shifts or users default to "present" unless they have entered leave? Some other workaround?
Cannot see shift rotation in shift calendar view
I have an issue with shift rotation. I tried to use it but failed to understand it thus far. For example, I've set a shift rotation to happen monthly. let's say in October employee A will work in shift 1, and in November, employee A will rotate to shift
Specify Shift Per Day & On Demand Shifts
We have default office hours for most employees. M-Th 8 AM - 5 PM and Fri 8 AM - 1 PM. Then random employees who clock in on demand to do work. What is the best way to schedule these shifts.

Hide inactive departments from Ogranization Tree
Hello, I need to hide some departments from the organization tree. I cannot dele them, because there is a need to maintain historical data in our organization. Still, I don't want to see it on the current department organization tree. Those departments are no longer used to anything but maintains history data. How can I hide department from organistation tree without deleting it from system?
How to add new CRM account to People (via Primary Client in Projects)
When a new client is created in Zoho CRM we typically assign projects to it. The projects and tasks/jobs are automatically imported into People but the account/customer is not. Is there anyway with Deluge or Flow to automatically import a new Zoho CRM account into Zoho People? Better yet, Is it possible to import a new account it is a primary client of a project in Zoho Project? I can think of ways to create a new client with the same name but it would not be tied to Zoho CRM.
How to prevent duplicate timesheet hours
Hi All Has anyone figured a way to prevent duplicate hours for the same day in a timesheet? For example I have 2 timesheets submitted for approval for the same project, job etc and each have 4 hours each for the same day. One is a duplicate entry. How do i inform the submitter that it is a duplicate entry?? Casper

Populating Type of Leave taken into Timesheet especially in Calendar View
Hi We have different types of leave. Some leave types are paid and others are not. If any paid leave is approved for a specific day, can it show on the calender View for the specific day in the Timesheet? Casper

LMS Free Trial expiring, but I am on Zoho One
Hey Team, I just received an email notifying me that my LMS Free Trial is expiring September 15. It mentioned that if I want to continue using LMS, I need to purchase an add on. I am on Zoho One and I should have the Zoho People Enterprise, right? I should have the LMS by default. Can you clarify this?
Unable to upload data in one of the Forms in Zoho People

Hi there, I am trying to update employee data via the Update Record API: https://www.zoho.com/people/api/update-records.html. For this, I am using Postman. When I am posting the request to your server to update data of the specified employee, I am getting a "400. Bad Request" error in an HTML response (see the following screenshot). Hi Is there a way to check if a user has an active attendance entry via API calls? We need to know if the user is already clockin or not before we send the attendance entry. If the user is already clockin our system needs make a clockout call, if not it should be a clockin call. /deniz

Checkin several time
Hello What is the right setting if I have conditions like this: Can checkin several times and the admin can set the checkin hour once every hour or at certain hours on each shift and the hours can be modified. For example, the admin arranges to check in at 8am, 10am, 1pm, 3pm every day and the hours can be changed and not employees who are absent manually but for hours determined by the admin / manager. Then every hour that is set appears a notification on every hour that has been set.

Time tracker integration with Quickbooks - has anyone done this?
Hello, I've been using Zoho CRM for several years, and I'm now testing out Zoho People to see if I can use that as a time entry system that can easily sync to Quickbooks. So far I'm not having any luck at all. I have set up time tracking in Zoho People, but I don't see any way to integrate the list of clients and projects with the list of clients and projects I already have set up in Quickbooks. I'm hoping I can sync that list so I don't have to do dual data entry on both systems. Is it possible

Hello, For managing People, we ant to add a new user as admin. But this person is an external resource, and not an employee. Is there a way to hae such a position ? so that thisuser doesn't count into the employee number, no time log, no payroll, etc... ? He is just admin. Thanks

Hi there, We have subscriptions for Zoho People. When our employees try to connect ot Zoho People right now we got your promotion to upgrade to Zoho People Plus which is not interesting us at all. Now some of our employees clicked on upgrade and we cannot cancel with the Google SSO authentication we used since years. Could you please remove this ads for the Zoho People Plus ASAP? This way to proceed is just unacceptable.
How to setup basic 360 Degree Feedback
We use the Zoho People performance management system for annual reviews using KRA and Goals. Everything works great. We want to start doing simple 360 degree reviews where every few months employees can review their managers. This is especially important as we hire new managers. I have a feedback from one of our prospects, is Zoho People thinking of adding a heatmap for checkin/out location of the users? Competitors have this and I think it would be a great feature too. Plus, right now, there's not even a report in the app to see the overview of the check in/out location of the users; admin has to click at the record individually to see them, which is a hassle.
