Unless I've missed something Zoho Projects doesn't reschedule existing milestones or tasks when new tasks, with a hogher priotity, are added? This is rather annoying because you have to reschedule all the tasks manually. Also I can give one person 100 tasks the same day?

I want email-generated forum posts to forward to the other users, the same way that portal-generated forum posts do. I have company role as "Manager" so I think I should have a permission to change user role at project level. work calendar filter & default
In the work calendar, the filter default appears to be set on "tasks". This I think really needs to be set to "all"--otherwise, if you're not paying attention, you can miss meetings & other important details. Thanks.
Projects - Wiki: How do you change default homepage

Gantt view issues and Internal/external Tasks questions
Hi there, Two questions: 1/ Correct me if I am wrong but it looks like the only way to have external and internal Task Lists is in the general milestone. This seems strange to me but once I create a milestone, I do have the option to make it internal or external but then all the Task lists under this milestone follows the milestones setting. Gantt chart date range
I've just signed up for Zoho Projects, and I'm having trouble getting the Gantt Chart report to show the full project timeline. I have tasks specified that start as early as 2/1/10 and finish on 8/1/10, but if I choose "Select Month" in the report and specify August 2010, it only shows from 4/19/10 to 8/2/10. Insecure Access to Projects - Invalid Certificate
When using Secure access, the Projects application does not have a valid security certificate. I have checked this in several different browsers ( Chrome 10, Firefox4, IE9 and Opera 11) and all exhibit the same behavior. Other applications such as mail, writer etc seem fine and are accessible. Work calendar task list-date & list mismatch
My work calendar shows the correct date (in the yellow highlight), yet on the right, the task list is dated as "today's tasks", which is actually the tasks for the previous day. It is correct for all other dates before "yesterday" and after "tomorrow".
Reordering Task List Items in Task List Templates
There does not seem to be anyway to reorder Task List Items with in a Template directly. There is a work around though: You can add the template to a project, reorder there, and then save as template again. It would be nice to be able to collapse the template task lists and be able to reorder them as well. wickwood
No access to task details after a search
Hi, When looking for tasks by keywords with the search at the top I get a list of results. Clicking on a task title should then take me to its details in the edit section, but it does not - I get sent to the tasks list again, (on top of that, with all tasks listed whereas I normally only show open ones, but that happens whenever I return to that list.) This is an issue for me as I often need to search tasks. Tried under both Firefox and Chrome. Running latest Firefox and Chrome on Windows 7 64bits.

One of the only reasons we are not using Project is that there was no ability to save dependencies in a template in the previous version. Is that now available? Drew

Increased number of data migration/export formats
I would very much like to suggest that zoho's project portal xml export format is insufficient. I have noticed that quite a few organisations permit export to html, txt formats as well. Given the difficulties of data migration--from Zoho & more generally within the realm of IT--Zoho gets good marks.However, provision to only its own xml appears not in keeping with the original aims of Zoho, and seems to me to harken to the 'bad old days' of "captive data". Hi, Even though a useful feature, tasklists template remain difficult to manage. I finally found how to create a tasklist and then turn it into a template, but where can I edit or delete those templates ? After adding another task to my sample tasklist I chose again "add to template" but I now have 2 templates with similar names, and now way to know what's in which.
