The Social Wall: January 2024

Hi everyone,

We hope 2024 is filled with promise for all of us. It surely is here at Zoho Social. To begin with, we rolled out some updates and initiatives this January that can help you see a quick reflection of your previous year and that can make your Social experience more worthwhile.

Social Spotlight  

Social Spotlight gave you a quick rewind of how your 2023 went by. You could look back on how many followers you gained, posts published across channels, and total engagements received. This was made even more interesting with the "Share as post" feature, through which we hope all your social media channels have been buzzing with activity.

Navigating Zoho Social

We launched the Navigating Zoho Social series, comprising a set of videos that will help make your onboarding journey easier. This instructor-led series guides you through signing up for Social, setting up your account, onboarding your team and creating roles, exploring the publishing and scheduling options, tracking your post performance, and managing your account settings. This serves as a complete handbook for users who are figuring out how to use Social for their social media management.

Some updates that went live are:

Admins can get their posts approved for publishing     

With this feature, as portal and brand admins, you'll be able to send your drafted posts for approval to other approvers of the brand in cases where you want another opinion or a quick agreement before you're good to go!

Updates in the Zoho Social mobile app 

Additionally, some updates like Instagram Stories direct publishing; alt text support for Facebook, LinkedIn, and X; and custom video thumbnail for X also went live on the iOS app v7.9 in the App Store.
