Links to Zohowriter Docs instead of uploads in "Documen
It would be nice if in the Documents section of a project, there was a choice to insert or "upload" a LINK to a document as well as actually uploading a document. Or, I suppose integrating Writer with Projects would be the alternative but I think the former would be a lot easier! :-) Links would save a lot of time versus uploading then downloading, editing, then uploading again. Plus, as YOU know, Writer insures the most recent versions and tracking even if people are working simultaneously. Uploading

Project Templates / Library
A lot of the projects has the same steps -- it would be nice to have a project template that defines the steps (and optionally the durations for each step). This should make it simple to setup new projects that have many steps. Thankx CC
Moving Tasks / Completed Tasks
There are two features that I need to continue using your service. I need to be able to Move a task from one List to another. A feature that would be nice; would be to move all remaining tasks in a list to a new list. If I create a list for Phase 1 of a project, but I didn't get all items complete by the deadline, I need to be able to move those tasks to Phase 2. I don't need to see every completed task for a list, just the last 10 or so would be nice. There should be a link to see the entire list,

Unable to upload file
I am a manager on a project, and when I try to upload a file it acts like it's uploading. However, when the file list refreshes I do not see the "uploaded" file in the list, nor do I receive any sort of message indicating that the upload was not successful for any reason. I should be able to add files to a project if I'm a manager on the project, shouldn't I?
Project Templates, have milestone templates available
All my projects have similar deadlines, similar task lists associated with same milestones everytime. I'd like to have more than just task list templates. i want milestone/project templates, too!

Document edits, updates and version control
It seems that the update feature does not work or is limited - can't get the the system to upload an updated version of a document - from the originator or from another project member who has collaborated on the doc - are we missing something here?? ctravis
Can\'t edit a task (causes a browser script error)
I'm setting up my first project and would like to use zoho but after adding 4 tasks i can no longer edit a task. Clicking the pencil causes a browser error to occur: Line:7 Char:105058 Code:0 Error:Can't move focus to the control because it is invisible, not enabled, or of a type that does not accept the focus. URL:http://arc.projects.zoho.com/login.do I have restarted the browser and tried IE7 and maxthon. This is a show stopper for me And i will need to use an alternative tool if i can't resolve

Manager Privileges
I have the definition for Manager you provided. Manager - he is the one with less privileged than admin and have controls/permissions only at the project level. He/She can add users to the project, create project folders, create forum categories. Does this mean a Manager can create a completely new PROJECT? Thank you,
Sending task and meeting notes by email.
After I complete a task or meeting and complete the notes section, can I copy/paste the text into an email. And then send to project team members or other parties. If I could capture the task/meeting notes for later email it would save extra typing/preparation. Also this history would be in task notes and we wouldn't have to search for an email. Just a thought. I would like to give a feedback on Zoho on that all Zoho services should have a mouse-over drop-down menu on the zoho logos for example like the Windows live services where the user puts the cursor over the Windows Live logo and a drop down menu with shortcuts to the other Windows live services (eg. in Windows Live Hotmail, the shortcuts include "MSN", "Windows Live Gallery, etc, and also sub-links like "Account Settings", etc) because for example, when using Zoho Wiki, there are no shortcuts back
One day duration Milestones
Hi, This is a small thing but as it is very repetitive taks, it gets unnessary annoying: Many times you set Milestones which are just for one day, but even though in the Milestone dialog you also have to or are obligated to also set the end date to the same day as the start day that step means 3 extra unnecessary mouse clicks everytime you set a one day duration milestone. Could you please set the Milestone settings so that when you set the Start date to lets say 04-23-2007 that automatically the
User Passwords should be set by the Admin or Manager and not
User admin should be able to set passwords to something logical easy for the client or users and be able to keep track of them. Otherwise this can be a very dissorienting situation. It is also not always interesting that the user or client becomes an email straight away after creating an account, this should the admin decision and not a machine decision. thanks Mario mario

Interesting tool, first time I have ever used project management software. I go back to a time in project mgt using a flat rock and chisel, just a note pad and pencil. Hi guys, 30 posts in "General" around 30 posts in "Feature Requests" in the last 2 months which by the way, over 30% of them got no answer at all from you stuff, should be for you an indication that something is lacking. Todolist Flag \"Internal\" or \"External\" do not work prope
If I create a Milestone and I flag it as "External" and then I create a new Task List and connect it to this External Related milestone with Todolist Flag "internal", the Task List is still flagged as External Task List when created. The same in a viceversa situation. I think this a bug because is not working as intended. It is also not possible when a Task list belongs to a milestone to change its Todolist Flag state (there is no option for it) you have to flag it as none and then from the Miscellaneous

Week Ahead Calendar in Dashboard
Probably one of the best features in Basecamp is their weekahead calendar. It looks clean and clear. They show always the complete name of the shown Milestones. In Zoho Dashboard the names are cut what is not clear to see but the funny thing about it is that there is left a huge white space after the cut names on the right side of the box. Are you planning to fix this? By the way a week is to short, what about 14 days? Thanks Mario mario
Responsable instead of Owner
Hi, I think it would be more clear and appropiate to called it "Responsable" to the person who whose task is assigned instead of Owner, which actually means nothing, since it does not mean that person is in charge for that task. So in Dashboard view, it is confusing to read "Owner" in Today's tasks. cheers mario
Added notes to Tasks
When you add a note to a task, it would be useful to show e.g. that "1 note" in a different color like orange or so to clearly see there is a note in that task. As all those marks are in the same blue colour is not clear to see which ones have notes and which ones don't. Thanks Mario mario
Sending task reports by email
This is a great product and the UI is very user friendly. It would be great if we could have all open tasks mailed to respective users on a set frequency, i.e. daily or weekly. santosh
