We’re here to share a few updates and enhancements in Zoho Meeting. Here's what we've been working on lately: Request to unmute feature, video feeds pagination, change layouts in audio conference, remember devices in webinar, suggest recording to host/co-host, and other updates that you’ll find useful.

Request to unmute
Meeting participants might mute themselves to ensure that there are no disturbances or background noises coming from their side. Un-muting a participant without their consent is a violation of privacy. However, the host can use the new Request to unmute feature to request participants to unmute themselves to share their thoughts during meetings. Learn more




View up to 250 video feeds 
You can now view up to 250 video feeds at once on multiple pages. This allows you to see your meeting participants in a gallery view when you’re scrolling through pages. 

Change layouts in audio session
There are several video layouts available during your meeting. You can choose one to change the number of participant video feeds you see on your screen based on the size of your browser window or the meeting content. 

Suggest recording to host/cohost
We now provide a pop-up suggestion to alert the host/co-host if the session needs to be recorded after the meeting has started but they have not initiated the recording.

Other Zoho Meeting and Webinar updates
Original audio setting in meeting
The original audio setting allows users to preserve original sound from their microphones without the use of echo cancellation or other audio enhancements. 

Remember devices in webinar
With the remember devices feature, users can retain the audio/video pairing of their system for consecutive sessions. 

Mobile app updates
Android
We have incorporated the following features and enhancements into the Zoho Meeting Android app:
  • Request to unmute in Meeting
  • Meeting polls
  • Anonymous Q&A in Webinar
  • Privacy and security enhancements like rooted device alert, recording consent, and session expiry. 

Bug fixes
We have done some bug fixes related to the audio sessions going to sleep if there is no interaction on the page and editing/deleting occurrences in Zoho and Google Calendar.
