Weekly Tips : Stay in loop with Conversation View

Weekly Tips : Stay in loop with Conversation View

You receive a series of emails back and forth with a client regarding a project update. Instead of searching through your inbox for each separate email, you would want to see the entire email conversation in one place to understand the context quickly and follow the flow of the discussion. This way, you can easily track all the replies and responses without missing any details or losing the context of the conversation.

Use Conversation View in Zoho Mail to view the entire email conversation as a single thread.

Conversation View

Conversation View groups the emails as conversations and presents them hierarchically, making it easy to read and navigate to the individual emails in the thread. There are flexible and multiple personalization options available in the Conversation View settings to personalize the view and the actions to suit your requirements.

Turn on Conversation View

  1. Log into your Zoho Mail account.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Conversation View.
  3. Click the Enable conversation view checkbox.

  4. You can also choose to :
    1. Apply bulk actions either to the emails within a single folder or to all emails in that conversation across all folders, when selecting emails in conversation view.
    2. Mark all emails in a conversation as read when the email preview is opened.
    3.  Sort conversations with the Newest emails on top or Oldest on top.
    4. Move the email conversation to the top when you reply to any email.
    5. Group email messages in a conversation based on the subject.
  5. Once Conversation View is enabled, go to your Inbox or any other email folder.
  6. Emails that belong to the same thread will be grouped together as a single conversation.
  7. You can click the number in the summary row, which opens the tree view of the whole email conversation.
Note: You can also enable Conversation view right from the Inbox/ folder using the Conversation View On/ Off icon available at the top right corner.
