Zoho Books emails suddenly going to Spam since 11 Nov 2025 (Gmail + now Outlook) — anyone else?

Hi everyone,

We migrated to Zoho Books in July 2025 and everything worked fine until 11 Nov 2025. Since then, Zoho Books system emails are landing in customers’ Spam (first Gmail, and now we’re seeing Outlook/Office 365 also starting to spam them).

Impacted emails:

- Estimates / Sales Orders / Invoices (with public links to accept/confirm/pay)

- Zoho Books system notifications & automated reports

Manual emails are often fine, but system/automated Books emails are the ones consistently flagged.

Zoho Support response (summary): they are blaming Google/Gmail filtering and saying it’s outside Zoho’s control.

Google/Gmail side response (summary): they are saying the issue is with the sender/authentication/reputation (Zoho Books sending) and the messages are being flagged based on that.

Questions to the community:
  1. Is anyone else facing Zoho Books emails going to spam starting 11 Nov 2025 (especially Gmail)?

  2. Did you fix it? If yes, what exactly worked (SPF/DKIM/DMARC changes, Zoho settings, changing “From”, using a dedicated sender domain, etc.)?

  3. Does Zoho Books use a different sending infrastructure for system emails vs manual emails (and could this be failing SPF/DKIM/DMARC alignment)?
This is critical for our business — we have no shop front and all sales are digital, so if invoices/quotes go to spam we lose revenue.

Any help or similar experiences appreciated.
