Hello, I have created a form called for employee contact information, that has a user's name as well as the branch that they work at and other info. I have also created another form and I have it set up so that I can select the employee's name from a drop down last as they are created, but I would like to know how to have it populate a field with their branch location when their name is selected. The variables zoho.loginuser and zoho.loginuserid can be used in scripting to write logic based on the user viewing your application. Cannot create report
I currently have no reports in my database. When I try to create a pivot table report based on a particular view, the fields (in the left-hand panel) are called Column 1, Column 2, Column 3, instead of the actual column names. When I proceed with the report anyway, I get useless results - a pivot table with one cell. Why does the report generator not connect up with the view correctly?

Hello, I'm trying to post a SOAP XML request to a URL, but the postURL() function requires the data to be a map variable. It appears that this doesn't work because it places the SOAP XML request under a field header in the post data that isn't interpreted correctly by the server. Delete security warning
I use hosted images in an HTML view which apparently triggers the HTTPS security warning (see below) when my page loads. This HTTPS security warning is absolutely unacceptable. Sendmail without attachment question
Hello, I've ported my license manager application written in Java with the Zoho Creator within minutes (just to try it out and have fun! It's GREAT!). Sadly it's not possible to send attachments, so it's rather useless for me, because when I enter a new customer a small file with the license key is generated and attached to the email (at least in my java version). Hi! When importing data from .xls file to a form, i get the values multiplied by 100. example: value in the cell= 0,99, the value i get on the view is 99,00. does anyone know why this happens? Thanks in advance

Not able to untoggle secure access
Hi, In my application "Board Elections 2012" the Ballot form is not loading. I suspect that the issue might be https, but I am not able to untoggle secure access. Clicking the button and saving under settings has no effect. The next time, I open settings, it's back to https. Thoughts? Brian
How can I view documents that have been uploaded with the File-upload field?
I've created an Application in Creator, with three "File-upload" fields. Users will be uploading text documents (.doc/.pdf) I'm wondering if there is a way to batch-view the uploaded documents. Is there a tool in the software I can use to batch-download the original documents that were uploaded? Ideally, I'd love to see them as a printable, combined .pdf - is anything like that possible? How to show field value after form submission
I need to show a field's value (a formula field) on a page after the form is submitted. I have added it to the Success message, but that only stays on the screen for 1-2 seconds, and it needs to be viewed longer than that. Ideally, I'd love to pass the value to another page, but I don't need it to do that. I just want either a popup screen to appear or the ability to keep the success message up until a button is hit (like OK) or something like that. The twist is that after the success message,

Copying of application blocked if quotes used in rich text field
Attempts to duplicate and copy the application from the home page failed, and so I saved the application as a script and tried uploading it into a new application. Turns out that it finds errors in all rows of the script that define a rich text (comment only) field, where the text defined include single or double quotes. Can't seem to Share application
I've created an application and I cannot seem to share it with my friend. He can see the app in his SHARED APPS area, but when he clicks on it, he gets the "not authorized" message. I've attached a document where he explains what he's doing. To me he seems to be doing everything right. I have been able to successfully share the app with another friend without any problems.
