Hi, I have a function that allow to export data of a row of searchable dbase in pdf. I do it with html view called Print. I also tray to put zc parameter to export a pdf with name based on determinate field. But it's so different the language of function compared with openurl. Any suggestion? How to Capitalize first letter in Name field
I am trying to capitalize the first letter in the First and Last name fields. Name = (input.First_Name.toUpperCase()).subString(0,1) When you enter the name only the first letter of the name is displayed in CAPS but the rest of the name is not accepted int he field. So the result for example with the name Kimberly it will only execept K in caps. What am I doing wrong?

Problems duplicating: html comments and custom actions with functions
In trying to duplicate an application, I was blocked by two problems: 1) forms with multiple html comment fields caused errors and 2) views with custom actions that refer to functions caused errors. This despite the application working fine before the dupliction attempt. I've managed to copy the application by saving it as script, then reloading it and, while reloading it, deleting the parts that cause errors. However, it shouldn't be necessary to delete anything.
Asset Management Breakdown
Would it be possible to breakdown the asset management to a similar format like "IT Asset Management" app (also on Creator).? Trying to save a spreadsheet uploaded from excel
I am new to zoho creator, and trying to create an excel spreadsheet for my students to use as a book reporting database. But the form is not keeping my changes when I try to save it; everything is dumped. I am told to save it to a copy of the file. That won't work, obviously! Thoughts? Thanks - Amy

I'm trying to create dynamic charts as described in "Creating charts using Zoho Sheet API" but the returned chart doesn't show any data. (See attached) The command used was http://sheet.zoho.com/zohochart.do?&charttype=LINE&chartdata=1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and should retrun a line chart with a diagonal line but no line is present. How do you select (in a view) a field that has something, anything in it, but not nothing? e.g. I have a field for email addresses (this is a bad example because I could search for the "@") How would I select all the fields WITH email addresses filled in?

I have two records in my database that i cannot delete or update. i am not sure why and have tried modifying fields in hope it would delete. Still no success. Adding Zeros before Number in Number Fields
In our forms we added a numeric field with a max of 3 digits. We sort our customers by these numeric fields. Our numbering system start at 001 and ends 999. We would like for these numeric fields to auto populate to 00# or 0## when less then 3 digits are entered. Is this possible? Thank you for your assistance and quick response.
idea for user rights
What I would like in sharing views and forms is to be able to copy the user-assignments I currently have for a user to another user. That would allow me to assign the same rights to a new user as a current user. Or for example when an employee leaves I can easily transfer the rights to the new employee (which has a new account). Even better would be if we were able to work with groups of users or with roles.

i am designing an ERP via Zoho. But according to client requirement, it's needed to keep track all their staff's movement of any detail among the company. Eg. promotion, when is hired, when is transfer department and a setup of X calculation also vary among time (support back-dated will use different rate for computation) So, i go through some basic tutorial, but didn't find a way to friendly way to keep track Effective dated records. (wonder if there is any in ZC)
