the word null during string concatenation
i created a field called Full_Name which is a formula field. the formula is: Salutation + " " + First_Name + " " + Last_Name if there is nothing in the Salutation field, the results are null firstname lastname, for example: null Joe Brown how do i stop it from including the word null when there is nothing in the field. thanks.

Action Won't Load On Submit - Please Help
For some reason the actions that I have listed to happen on form submit success are not loading in my browser. For example, I have my form set to send out an automatic email and display a thank you message once the form has submitted successfully. I have been using Agent_Email == zoho.loginuseridas a way to restrict users from seeing other user records. It has been working just fine. One thing i noticed was that the administrator could always still see all records on these views. The thing is recently i upgraded to a paid version of zoho and now have noticed the administrator cann no longer see records in this view. AS the administrator i dont need to restrict myself. I have a database which displays images fine. I exported the data and created 4 new databases via duplication. I then imported a subset of the original database into each of the 4 new databases. Initially this worked just fine. But I discovered some errors and deleted all the data, and re-imported several times. sharing application to user not working
hi, I've been attempting to share my application with one other user. When they sign into their account, the application does appear under their 'shared apps', however if they click on it, a message is displayed saying something like 'you are not permitted to access this application'. In my account, under 'Share this Application' a message shows: 'You have not shared this application with anyone.' How to generate a report for a database with many columns?
In my database, I have a volunteer form -- and 15 possible choices for the volunteers to sign up for. I cannot figure out how to make a pivot report, or ANY OTHER printable report, from my view. When I try to make a report, only about 6 of my columns are listed. Where can I find the others? I'd be perfectly happy printing a "View" of my database, if it could be made into a printable format. How can i create a link in an html view that will allow me to edit a record? I figure its a simple a href, but i don't know what the link url is? Chart display and properties do not keep their settings
I have a view in edit mode, and have the display type default to chart. if i try to update its properties, sorting, or change title and size in the display type, each counteracts each other and defaults the chart to original settings. The only configuration I am allowed to do at the same time is sorting and properties. I can not configure display type Title, Width, and Height and keep the settings. Is there something I can do, maybe in deluge?

Hi just started to check out Zoho, and maybe I am missing something but how can I create a 'percent growth' formula that does else but calculate the percentage change when comparing a specific FIELD VARIABLE X with the value of X in the previous record (after records have been sorted accordingly via grouping them on Date)? I.e. let's say if we have the following 2 records 1 Value1 2 Value2 etc I do now want to add a new variable GROWTH as (Value2/Value1)-1 Obviously it will lead to a missing value

Not receiving success email. I've noted in the last week that msg posted during lunch hour EST are taking a long time to come thru. Today, I've posted 6 records between 12h18 and 13h22 that have not come thru yet(13h37). But the one posted at 13h27 just came in find. My observation so far of this situation is that for about an hour somewhere between 12h30 and 13h30 EST success email takes a long time to come thru and in one instance I'm not sure it came at all. Schedules quota are too few
Despite an enterprise edition, the schedules are limited to 30 per months (quota). Our organization requires more schedules on certain months of the year. I created a function that creates a new record, which I call from a view. But when I try to execute it I get this cryptic error message: Error details: Error occured while executing the script. Error occured. This gives me no hint as to what the error can be. Any ideas?

Let's say I have two forms. One is Clients, and has 8000 records. The other one is Orders, and one of its columns, named "client", is a lookup to the Clients form. There are two related problems: - When I edit an Order, the 8000 Client records are downloaded to populate the drop down list for the client field. html view that opens records into another html view
Is there a way to create an html view that has a link that will bring up a record into another html view? I want a listing of all my transactions but to have a link that a user can click that will bring up another view that has data displayed into an html table that looks like an invoice. This way i can create invoices right inside of creator. How would i do this? Also i would like to be able to email and print this invoice html view, how would i do this? The print command i think would be easy.

all data lost in database
I have 10 entries left out of 1200 that are lost in my database. the database is Iao Detention Database my username is iaoadmin I did delete about 80 of the entries but suddenly they all disappeared and left me with 10 entries. Ghost text in free flow scripting in Chrome on a Mac
When editing code on a Mac in Chrome, occassionally there is "ghosting" (please see attached screenshot). This does not occur in Firefox or Safari (which shares the webkit engine with Chrome). The obvious workaround is to either not use the free flow scripting with Chrome or to use Safari instead, but it would be good to get this resolved. Any thoughts?
