Multi-line field size?

Best way to duplicate data
I want to duplicate both 1) Application and the 2) Data in the application - From what I have read, the only way to duplicate the data is to export the data and then import into a new application - Pls. let me know that there is a better way? Statement Limit and Clipped Wings
To: Zoho Creator Support & Dev Community Please tell me exactly how to calculate statement limits. I have run into the 5000 statement limit (one individual process i.e., on load, on submit, etc.) frequently and I want to know exactly how to calculate this so I can stay under the bar so to speak. How to show the image in thunpnail view for the view form.
In the view of the form, for image it is displaying only the name of the image not the thumpnail view? Whether i have to change any settings or else it is an issue??? See the attachment...............

Difference in Print Summary and PDF Summary View and Export PDF in IE and Firefox
Hi, I have noticed that when Print a summary view, it does it correctly, but when export it to PDF, it exports it as List. In Firefox it gets an extra .html added, so it is not opened correctly.
alert messages - how to erease ?
when I make a alert in 'edit mode' or in 'user input' how can I erase this alert when the user write the right thing in the field and continue to fill all other fields. it looks not very nice when the alert message is still on the screen until submit or update. regards john

Hy! I'm having a problem with creating a report... So when I create a report that consists rows with name, surname, phone,... of a user, then, when I click in my application on that report, it shows me three users that I've previously created but I've already deleted them and so the "DB" should be empty! If I insert some of the users in "DB", it also shows me all of them - deleted and newly created... What can I do? Thanks!
Column auto-update upon view refresh - can it be done?
I am putting together a company/contract database to show a list of companies and the current status of their contracts with me (expired/active/etc) Therefore I would like the company list view to show the current status of their contract, based upon the contract start date and duration, and the current date. ZOHO Creator is slow to respond ...
In the last hour ZOHO Creator is slow to respond ... actions that require round trip to the server take 10 seconds or more ... normally about one to three seconds. Even when Editing the Application, response is slow. However, access to ZOHO Forum, ZOHO Writer and even ZOHO Creator Help is fine. Gaev
When reaching record limit on Professional plan, will entries be blocked, or will they be accepted at an extra charge?
I'd prefer that submissions of new entries be blocked once the limit is reached. Is that possible?
Adding cells
I have a form that has 10 cells that take a number input. The problem I am having is that not all of the cells will always have a number entered by the user. In fact most of the time it will be around 2-3. I assume what is going wrong is that the formula is trying to add void cells since there is not data inputed into them by the user. I tried making the initial value 0, but apparently that does not roll over either. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Is there a way to edit permission and on a per user name basis? If not that would be a very nice feature to be able to grant individual 'users' different access rights for adding, editing, deleting, etc. records.

Blank PDFs from a view
I have developed an application which has a feature which allows the user to download or print an invoice. It simply is a view which they can print or create a PDF. The PDF creation is the problem. When they click on PDF they receive a blank PDF in their viewer of choice. Occassionally though this does work??? The printing works fine. Why are they getting blank pages?? Is there a timer involved???

Hi, I'm trying to import some data from an Excel spreadsheet that contains a Date column. What format should this column be to import in to Creator? I can't seem to get it to work. Also, if I export a Creator Table that contains a Date field can this be exported as a valid Excel date please? Thanks, Lee

I have an Excel date field formatted as e.g. 27-Jan-2010 which I thought was an acceptable format for creator. It does not import any values whatsoever. Both creator and excel use the same field names. Also, I have a creator URL field which accurately imports properly constructed url's from excel as text values, but which are not clickable links. Any thoughts on these issues would be sincerely appreciated. Thanks.

E-mail notification for an import
Hi. Is there a way to send a single email notification if I upload 200 records into my Creator application? I set it up to work off the submit button but if I import several records through the import interface it sends me an email for every record uploaded (very annoying to have to delete 200 emails everytime. I'd like it to just send me one to let my team know new records have been added.

Cannot add a new form
I cannot add a new form to my application. I am importing the data from Excel. I paste it and click the submit button and all I receive is a blank screen. Any thoughts? Allow users to import data.
Is there an option somewhere to allow users to import data? I would like to grand one of my users the ability to import excel files daily into the database. However, More Actions, all users only see export data, no import option shows up. Is this some sort of a feature or a defect?

Update Existing Records in Bulk
I need to update over 1,000 existing records using a script. I need to move all the data from old fields, into a new ones, and also add in information from linked records. Is there any way to do this? I have created a script that runs On Edit, which works, but I don't want to open up and edit each record one by one to trigger the script. I tried doing a bulk edit, but this didn't trigger the On Edit script. Any ideas?
View not opening in design mode
Dear Madam/Sir, I am not able to open one view in design mode,but I am able to run it. When I click on the view it throws an error:[ServletException in:/jsp/edit/view/viewedit.jsp] null' and no the view does not open. Please help me.
Checkbox items not showing up when used as a filter

Fair enough that it is a free version, but it severely limits it's ideal usability don't you think?
