Application Design
I am looking for a bit of help designing an Application for Creator. Basically its a message taking application, but rather than setting up an application for each person, I want to created a drop down box which will be who the message is for, then when I submit the form, it emails that person. Can anyone help with the script that would be needed?
2nd condition being ignored in validation script
I have a form with 2 fields "Region" and "New Region" Region is a look-up field from another form and New Region is a Single entry text field. When I use the following script to validate that there are entries in both, the first condition is evaluated and submit is canceled. URL field not working correctly
I have a view with a list of records and each record has a URL field. All of the URL fields work correctly; when I click on the URL it opens in the same window. This is the way I want it to work. But, when I click on the URL field in the last record, it opens in a new window. This is NOT the way I want it to work. Why does the last record in a list behave this way, when all of the other records work correctly.

hello, how can i create a view or a report based in different forms. Example: I have different forms for different product sales. Formula to calulate days until closing
I'm trying to calulate the number of days until a project closes. So I need to take the closing date minus now to get the number of days so I can write a rule. This is what I have but it shows nothing. Datecomp(Now(),${Potentials.Closing Date})

I Get a Blank Page When I Go to Edit Form
I am no longer able to edit my form as it doesn't show in edit mode. The form is "VarietySlotting" under the PDdbMobile application. I have given support access. Please let me know if I did something wrong to cause this so I don't do it again. Thanks!
Lookup Criteria
I have this form to match individuals already matched with project onto a second project. So I've based a lookup on two criteria, both of which must be met, that reads something like this: (Match != null) && (Second_Match == null) I just KNOW there are records in my database that meet this criteria, the form selected is right, but no matter what I do, the dropdown is empty. why won't it work?
Filling a field with On User Input
I'm having a bit of trouble getting one field to fill in based on the input of another field. Here are the details: I have one form called Part_Types. In that form there are only two fields: Part_Type (single line) & Part_ID_Number (decimal). The Part_Types form is completely populated with all of its needed data. The second form is called Parts. In the Parts form I have, among others, a Type field, which is a drop-down list based on on the Part_Type field from the Part_Types form and a Part_ID field
Any way to hide image name in my application?
In my application MNMemebership, is there any way to hide the image name in the view of the form but still have the image show up in the view?
Form is Scrambled on Mobile
Hello Zoho Team, One of my forms ("Trial") is scrambled on my mobile device. It is the only one with this problem. The form is in perfect order on the PC. In a view containing many columns, when search is clicked, for the operator "Between". the search text boxes were very small. Fixed ... but it appears not to have been fixed ... see attached image. Export data from a long form
Hi, I've done this form https://creator.zoho.com/simona_landi/questionario/#Form:Internet_form it's a long form... Now I need to export my data in a spreedsheet (excel), I don't need a view. I've tried using a view but the number of my colums (138) are too much, if I reduce the number of displayed colums when I export data I cant't get all the form data. Is there a solution? Internet explorer problems????
Hi, My users are having problems since january 2010. Problems: - when submiting they dont receive the confirmation message and the internet explorer opens an pop up suggesting to download .do file... - the data field is not opening, they have to write instead of using the calendar pop up I use a mac os with safari, and I dont have problems is it a internet explorer problem?? Please fix it to me.... thanks
Is there any way to link Zoho Creator & Zoho Invoice?
I am trying to come up with a better system of collecting purchase orders and book orders from retailers that we work with. It would be great if I could create an application with fields necessary to placing the order and have that translate into the invoice ability. My form YRI_Agreement_Request_Form is asking users to enter their login. 99% of those entering data into the form are not Zoho users. The form originally worked, but now, for some reason is telling users they must login. The form was originally set up without a login, but I re-did the link just to make sure. It is still requesting a login. I have trouble seeing the issue myself because the form always loads for me, whether I have logged into Zoho that particular day or not. I appreciate help
Zoho Upload API Help Documentation
This might be a simple question, but the answer has been eluding me for some time now. Any assistance would be appreciated. I am trying to upload a document using Zoho's Upload API (http://apihelp.wiki.zoho.com/Upload-APIs.html) and I'm looking for a step-by-step guide for doing this. The only API of the POST type that I could find in the help documentation was http://help.creator.zoho.com/Add-Record-using-Zoho-Creator-API.html#deluge A similar help doc on Upload API would help other non-techie 'developers'
Text wrapping and the Safari browser for Mac OS X
In Safari on a Macintosh computer, text does not wrap to the window. It will continue off the side of the window. For example, if you make a calendar view and click on the name of an event scheduled on that calendar, the summary of the event will continue off to the side of the window, and you have to scroll to read it. I would rather have the text wrap to the window.

Strange Pop-up in zoho
Hey Zoho, We have noticed that when we upload data through our form on zoho creator that we occasionally get a pop up message that some users interpret as an error. Just wondering if you might know what the issue might be? -Elliot
xPath Builder Error
In working with Zoho Sheet, I have stumbled upon an error which was raised in an earlier post on this forum. (https://help.zoho.com/portal/en/community/topic/xpathbuilder-error) I couldnt find the answer in that thread. Can someone pl enlighten me on this? My error message is as follows - Error :: Invalid XML/JSON format javax.xml.xpath.XPathExpressionException Funny thing is I've got similar code that works very fine with Zoho Writer.
Creator erased my data upon adding data in an unrelated field!
Bad bug! I added a Currency Column. Started inputting data, and then realized it erased data from some of my other fields in the same group! What happened?
Problem with embedding.
When embedding the application in a website, why is only the application's name visible? And how does someone access that data when viewing via the website.
Column Width too small
Yesterday my Database had correct column widths for the heading fields, today they have all become compact and hard to read I have my column width setting set to AUTO How do I fix this? anyone?
iCAL Feed Bug
Today, when I set a view to allow an ical feed, the action does not stay. Additionally, the only options in the pop-up dialog are Close and Cancel. I'd expect an "ok" or "submit" button or some type of notification that my ical feed is activated. PS: Any plans to support this ical feed in ZOHO calendar?

formula fields
I've create a formula field in "edit this application" but it's not appearing when I try to "access this application". Also a currency field I have set up doesn't let you put in your own amount...it keeps popping back to 25, which is the amount that is required in another field. steph

Problem with html view edit
I am getting a blank page when I go to edit an html view, and also I am not able to see the form or view definition. I tried it on Firefox, Internet Explorer and with Google Chrome and I am getting the same resutl. Help!
Editor
If two code blocks are nearly identical, switching between the code blocks shows the code as being graphically merged. That is, one code block is fading out and the other code block is fading in, but they both get hung so I can basically see both code blocks at the same time. I have to switch to a completely different code block with completely different code in order to get the Editor to completely redrawn the code in the Editor. Hope that makes sense! Stefan
Data lost on update? How do customers update?
When an update to an application is available, will the data for your current application be deleted upon update, or will it persist into the new version? I tried it on my own and the data seemed to be deleted. If I had an application that a customer had paid for with the promise of free updates, how would I allow them to update without deleting their data? How can developers update applications for customers?
Form Number Field Width
In the following form code, I set the width on a Number field and it has no effect. The number field is not large enough to fully display the number. What Happened To Scheduler
Just another missed deadline promise. This started as being released August 21st, September 2nd, October.....Then, at the end of December, it was 2 weeks or so. Well, what gives??? Add "Modules" to Existing Application
I am wondering how a developer can advertise an application with the ability to add modules at additional cost. Basically, a free version of an application could be advertised and installed and at a later date other options could be added for a cost. Obviously, the user would need to be able to keep the same data with each update. Has anyone done anything similar? Thanks for your feedback.
Problems when opeinig my application
I am having trouble my Gastos application, when I try to open Gastos View, the page loads with errors and I just can´t go on. It feels like the database needs to be regenrated due to problems with an index. Could you please help me? Regards Mauricio De Anda H
