Can't edit record in embedded view
I have an embedded view on my website with editing capabilities allowed. However, when I click on the pencil icon next to a record, change data in a field, and then click "Update" the view only shows the animated loading icon (see attached image), but does not update the record. I am however able to update the record if I log into my zoho creator account so I think the problem is just with the embedded view.

Drop Down Box Restricted
Can you only have a total of 5 choices in a drop-down box? Or is there a way to have more? I able to click on "+" and add in categories, but then only 5 are showing up when I come out of edit mode. Can you suggest a solution?

having trouble seeing the data I entered
I have created a database and while I can enter the data and submit it, under the view tab I cannot see the data displayed. I noticed that as I submit the data, I can see that it's being submitted because there's a little circle but it doesn't say Data Submitted Succesfully as it did in my previous database. The two databases were created in the same exact way, they just contain different data. Help, please! chainy1

autoincrease field
hello, i'm just trying to get a field in my form that everytime the form is submited, this field sends an autoincrease number to de database. it has to be a hidden field, with an autovalue that increase de last number +1 everytime. this is easy to set on mysql, but i'm unable to find here. any help, please? thank you in advance

Help with Lookup
Hi I need a bit of help as I'm not too good with the scripting. I have a form (Form1) with a column called "item name" . I have another form (Form2) and I want to do a lookup depending on a radio button selection. If button is "recipe" then get Lookup from form1.item_name (this is fine and working) but if button is "Combo" the get List from form1.item_name, + the "name" list from this from From2. Is this possible ? If I cannot get this working, can I create a database where I can merge both fields,

Internet Explorer doesn't show entire screen
Hi, Unfortunately my Zoho Creator application is not completely visible in Internet Explorer; the last column to the right is only half visible. This doesn't happen in Firefox. I have the same issue when going into the application to edit things; the last column on the right is not completely visible. Any suggestions? Would it help to set the scrolling option in the URL to "yes", when embedding the link? The tool keeps getting better and better; keep up the good work! Kind regards, Andreas

It would be great to be able to get some language translations in some fileds. For example, I would love to take a date field into my form an include it into my site. The problem is that my site is in Spanish, and the date field appears in English (the months, the date display way 'dd/mm/yyyy' instead of 'dd/mm/aaaa'...) There are several fields that would be great to be able to choose the language you want them to be displayed. ...only a suggestion :) A fantastic job this ZOHO Creator anyway!!!!
IP address
I think this would be an awesome feature to add to your program, what it would do is offer the maker of the application to set if they want to "track IP addresses" and when they look at a view it will show IP addresses, but the IP addresses only show for the creator of the application. that way people can IP ban people who spam or do anything bad with the application from doing it again. I'm sure many people will find this feature useful tyrtheinsane
How do you make an initial value work on a hidden field?
I'd really like to know if there's a way to embed a default selection on a hidden dropdown. Please take a look at this example... http://creator.zoho.com/gaykc81/test/ I've set the hidden dropdown named "Status" to the initial value of "New Problem". Yet as you can it always shows up blank in the data view. The reason I need this field to autoselect is because I want to apply filters to it. For example I'll have a view just for new problems and another for solved ones. Thanks.

Sorry if this is stated somewhere and I didn't read it - but is there a way to make the form entry accessible by the public but make the view side of it with the data private? I want the public to be able to register themselves on my site but I don't want someone to be able to easily see all the entries and data I have collected. Thanks for your time!
"Null" when deleting records
Everytime I delete records in any of my databases, I receive a "null" in the middle of the screen. The marked records do not show deleted until I reload the view/form. Any ideas?
Users can delete records anyway
Even I didn't click the delete option, the delete button is visible to the users when I embed the view on my web site. So the users can delete items in the list, which I don't want. muratcekic

BUG - defaultvalues being erased
Currently (as of sometime yesterday), defaultvalues are being removed from fields whenever a form loads in live mode. This does not apply to text fields, but to picklists and radiobuttons. The form loads correctly with the defaultvalues as it is supposed to, but then immediately sends an Ajax request which removes the defaultvalues. If this is a bug at your end, speedy correction would be appreciated. Thanks Nick

Hi. Just wanted to let you knopw that, when you fill in the "Instructions" property of a form field, it doesn't appear when you access the application and hover the mouse on the field. It means we can't give instructions to the users unless they are included in the field name yassurlenet

Hi. I'm very impressed with your applications and have particularly taken a liking to Zoho Creator based on my brief interactions with it. One thing that would be absolutely incredible (and very helpful to me!) would be the ability to see thumbnails of Uploaded Images in View mode. Do you have any plans to include such a feature? I've been looking for some time for something that would allow me to easily create a spreadsheet that includes an items details, price, descriptions, etc ALONG WITH a picture.
Change view depending on form

Dynamic picklist

Creator Question - Target Link Open in a New Window

appllication dies on me
I am trying to use creator, and for any edit i do, including deleting tables, it just crashes... the whole thing gets stuck, no messages or anything... just stuck for several minutes and then the page does nto load.... form page properties
Hi there, I have a problem in the sense that the end of my form drops off the page. I can drag the page down, but I'm sure most users will not even try that. IS there a way to expand the page size? Another issue is that I don't see any option to control the formatting of the page. I have for example, a series of questions with yes or no radio controls, but they don't line up nicely. exporting dbases
Dear Zoho Creator team, I have developed my databases further, and am now dealing with exporting them to my hard disk. Previously, it appears that one could choose to export via pdf, or html. Exporting via .pdf, the document is the same as the �List� view eg. all laid out on the horizontal. I now have 21 fields, so this now is a long document. Alternatively, exporting via html enabled one to see dbases laid out in the vertical or �Summary� view. Now, this is changed�the vertical or �Summary� view
