Copying product info to Sales
I have information from "Product" that's necessary on "Sales", instead of typing it again, is there a formula which can help extra these data to Sales Order when a Product is added. Understand it might required a custom function, is there a guild line on it. Pls help.
Post JSON using postURL (to PayPal) - nested/multilevel JSON
I am trying to make a POST to paypal. As I understand ZOHO functions cannot handle multilevel or nested JSON strings. So I have had to create my JSON string manually. I believe the string to be formulated correctly, however when I run my custom function I get the following response in return> "responseCode":"400","responseText":"The request had bad syntax or was inherently impossible to be satisfied." I am pretty confident that my JSON is formatted correctly for the required POST> Here is the documentation
Email inbox tab - Zoho CRM
Hi there, Our organisation have subscribe to the free Zoho email plan. We are using it and it works pretty well. I have seen somewhere that I could add a tab "Email Inbox" in Zoho CRM so we can read our "Zoho Email" mailbox. I Did: Set up => Customization => Organize modules => Moved "Email" from unsekected tab to selected tab => Saved For some reasons the tab doesn't apprea in the tab section of my Zoho CRM. Any idea? Creating a module, editing field properties of 'module name'
When creating a new module, is it possible to change the field properties of the module name? Or should i create this in ZOHO Creator? Company uses a lot of 'quotes' - and it is impractical to name every quote. It is a commodity trader and sometimes during a phonecall, some 20 or more quotes for products are given and received. Ok, we made a new module "Repair" ... works fine. We add a macro 1. Send email to customer " We received your repair at our shop..." 2. Set reminder.... 7 days later. Now, I have a open task. Try to find out the email function
I setup a new CustomModul which included the lookup field for contacts (incl. email address). I also setup a mail template for this CustomModul. Now I want to send an email to the client. Get the error: Unable to send email as the CustomModul does not have eigher an email address or a secound email address. I tried the BigDeal email in the contact, what works fine.
Custom field formula limit reached?
I am getting the following error message when trying to create a formula in the quotes module; "You cannot create this Number or Currency formula field. You already have 7 Number & Currency formula fields and 8 Number & Currency fields" I am using the "professional edition" of ZOHO CRM which states I can create 15 formula fields. I only have 8 formula fields created so far and need to add more Can anyone help?

I had hoped that it would one day be possible for Zoho to become more suited to our business based on booking entertainment for various events. In the years I've been with zoho I had hopes that one day it would be possible to map fields across all CRM modules but why on earth this is not possible is beyond me. So then some time back you guys came out with workflow rules which sounds great but it really only allows me to create a few field updates and the things hat would really make a difference

Error with customization of contacts
Hello! I have a problem with the customization of contacts' form . I can’t customize it because there is an error generated by the presence of two fields with the same name (as you can see in the picture below), but I can’t delete one of these two fields because they’re standard. Customization of related lists fails

i set an automation as below When subject with prefix GRN, status update to "DELIVERED". This will work but the problem is the qty order did not go to stock when updated base on formula, but it will work when inactive the formula and do it manually. Please advise what's the issue

Question about getting a lookup field value from Contacts Module and updating a Lookup field in the Potential Module
I have a custom function for the Potentials Module its gets values from the Contact Module and Updates the new Potential with the values from the Contact Module. Auto number field specific to account
I would like to generate an auto number for each potential created for an account so we have a contiguous project number. i.e. account 12345 project 001, 002 ,003 etc. Unable to discover a way to achieve this - any suggestions welcome. Tony

Custom Module - dependency between Account and Contact
We'd like to record key Interactions so they are elevated above the general day to day clutter of tasks etc. This will help us to manage our relationships with our customers. An interaction will take place between one of our team and our customer (Contact and Account). I'd like to be able to specify the Contact and have the system populate the Account or Vendor from the Contact so that they show up in the Account or Vendor related lists. Locking Data Once Entered
We are having some tracking issues in our office. Due to a bonus program that one of our departments has, we have noticed they are claiming clients that we already had that came back through their department. We are trying to see if there is a way to lock data once it has been entered. We want everyone to be able to make the initial entry but then not be able to modify it. Mapping Fields
In my leads fields I have "Lead Source". When converting my lead into a contact I'm trying to get the lead source information to be transferred to the account, contact or job upon conversion. Hello, I am having trouble with marking invoices as paid. I know I can create a custom field with a picklist of Paid and Unpaid but that seems elementary when working with invoices in excess of tens of thousands of dollars. We frequently take partial payments from customers too. So determining how much is owed on an invoice is important as well. This is important for reconciling accounts receivable. I thought about using the "Adjustment" category but unfortunately that is already being used
