Use Zoho Invoice templates in Zoho CRM
I am new to Zoho. I am not very fond of the standard template that is used for quotes, sales orders and invoices in Zoho CRM. I was digging around and found Zoho Invoice and it has some very nice templates. How do I get those templates in Zoho CRM?
Sharing Data - CEO->Division Head->Sales Person

Tracking Time Spent on Each Contact?
Hello, we are a smalll law firm using the free version of Zoho CRM for our clients. The call feature is quite useful, but I was wondering if there is any way in Zoho CRM (or perhaps elsewhere in Zoho) where we can track the time spent on each client (contact), other than listing every activity as a call. For example, must writing a letter, research, or going to court be listed as a call for us to enter our time spent on each client in Zoho? Ideas, please!
How do I insert a new related record with the API?
Hi there. On the API I see methods for getRelatedRecords and updateRelatedRecords but I'm after inserting a related record. To be specific, I'd like to programatically create a list of related Products for each Potential. Is there such thing as insertRelatedRecord? Is this possible with the API? Thanks

Invoicing From CRM
Is there a way that I can create an estimate from CRM and not need to exit CRM and go into Invoice? While in a contact record I would like to be able to generate an invoice from there. Any way this can be done? Can Quick Actions be customized to do this? Thank you for your help.

I can't add users to our CRM, because I previously had a "test" ZOHO CRM, and invited certain users to it. Now, I want to add them to our paid company version, but can't because their email was used in the other free version, which is now deleted (yes, I completely deleted that account). ?? Obviously, I need to add our employees to the CRM as users. What's the fix or workaround?
Number of Licenses
Hi There I have 5 licenses that I am paying for every month. But I only have one active user. How do I add a new user without increasing the number of licenses? It seems wrong that I can make a user inactive (as they no longer work here), but can't re use their license. Please help Thanks Alan

Hi, We have been using ZOHO API to update records in our ZOHO CRM. We have 1400-1500 records to be updated every month. Recently, the updates keep stopping at a certain number of records with the following error message: 'Unknown SSL protocol error in connection to crm.zoho.com:443 'error occurred during curl exec. Can I generate quote with a discount rate linked to a "Discount" field in Contact ?
Hi, I have customers with several level of distribution and volume, and each one with a specific discount rate that applies on the fixed price list. I would like to apply automatically this discount rate from this discount field in Contact when I generate a Quote from within this contact, but I don't know how to do. At the moment, I have to put manually the discount in each Quote. Same questions would be for the tax level to apply to a Contact. Is it possible to link a field in Contact (or Account)

In the account profile the list of contacts is given, which contains up to 10 contacts per page (within particular Account). When I have 20 or 30 contacts, I will have to use (pointer) button to see all contacs which belong to 1 account. Search not finding contacts
Hi We have suddenly found that leads / contacts etc which we worked on recently are not appearing in the search results. But if we load the same client as a lead, and convert the lead to a new potential, CRM picks up the contact. Customizing quotes
We just switched to doing quotes on ZOHO and we want to be able to reflect savings on the quote. However, it seems that there are default fields (i.e. Terms & Conditions or Description) when creating a quote. The frustration is that we don't need Terms & Conditions on our quotes and Description doesn't show up on the PDF when I export it. Buttons question
When I create a custom function in Zoho CRM, I can create an argument for the Account ID. The function editor shows "int AccId". When I try to create a custom button and I want to associate a custom function to the button, the Account ID gets passed as "string AccId". Of course when I try to work with the Account ID, I get the usual BIGINT error. This seems to be a discrepancy. Am I wrong? How can I convert the string Account ID into a BIGINT? Should I have to? I have followed your instructions to change my primary email address by deleting an existing user with the new email address tony.james@resolutiondm.co.uk then creating a secondary email address for tony.james@resolutiondm.com and then making it the primary address but it then says that the .co.uk email address already exists. Hello, I'm thinking about using Zoho for a B2C solution. It looks like that is possible to setup, I think by making the Account field optional. There will, however, be some accounts that I do want listed as Companies. Will that still be possible if setup for B2C? Also, do lead gen web forms still work for B2C?
