Tip of the week #36: Migrate to Zoho Calendar from Outlook Calendar.
If you've been using Outlook calendar and looking to migrate to Zoho Calendar, you can seamlessly export your calendars from Outlook and import them into Zoho Calendar without losing any events, participants, and the reminders set for each event.
To migrate from Outlook you need to export your calendars into ICS files. You can refer to the help guides of Outlook calendar with respect to the client (Web, Desktop, etc.,) you use to export calendars in ICS format.
To import them into your Zoho Calendar, log in to your
Zoho Calendar account. Navigate to
Settings > Import > ICS file. Click
Choose file. Select the ICS file of the calendar you want to import from your local storage. Choose the calendar into which you want to import those events. If you wish to create a new calendar to import those events, click
+Create New and provide a name for the calendar. Click
Save.
You can choose to overwrite the events organized by you, include attendees and reminders, and mark the events as private as you import them. Click
Import.
The events will be imported into Zoho Calendar along with the attendees (if you choose to) and you can manage them from Zoho Calendar.
