Sales tax Reporting for various regions and tags
I need to track sales using four tags so I can get combinations of four regions and two customer types, Retail and Wholesale. It is easy enough to attach a tag to a wholesale customer and get data for many sales.However- When looking at doing the same with Retail customers we have thousands therefore is impractical. Even if we started entering contacts with tag info there would be human errors because of the number of times the human has to enter it right. Is there some way to group customers? In

Situation..I am outsourcing Website build to a firm. I have created a purchase order for the full value with payment to be made in 3 instant as advance / and 2 milestone. The company will raise an invoice on me . How should I handle this to record the 3 transactions that will occur... Do I raise a bill for the advance and another 2 bills for the next 2 milestones
Wanting to move from Quickbooks Enterprise
I really like the Zoho Books layout, the integration with the CRM is better although still clunky (finance invoices/sales orders in the CRM aren't the same as the non-finance invoices/sales orders, but I am guessing in time that'll be resolved)... The system seems to do what we need - accounting, project management, supplier management, invoicing/sales orders, case management, crm - I mean it really functions the same as a full ERP system. US Tax code: IRS Form Schedule C: Business Profit /Loss
New to ZOHO Books: Is there a form or report that captures Income minus deductible expenses for Schedule C reporting, ie, applying US tax code. Examples: 50% deduction for meals expenses, 100% deduction for reimbursed Travel expenses, Mileage deduction versus auto expense? New HTML invoice templates
Thank you for this great feature Zoho guys. Can you tell me if I've done something wrong by looking at the attached image, the rate field is showing all squished up but I don't want it on the template ? Allow items to be added or deleted in to partially shipped sales orders
We make sales order of 50 items, we ship half of the items, and customer calls please make adjustment from my sales order, from remaining items, i need to cancel this item and add this item instead. You are using zoho, what happened, you have to delete all the packages (even if they are 30 packages) you have to delete all shipments and packages for making the changes. OMG! Text field predictions could improve
When I create an invoice an start typing my customer's last name in the Customer Name field, it doesn't find my customer. It only finds it if I type the customer's first name. I think this functionality should be in place as I consider it to be basic. Xero can do this. I hope Zoho will fix this. Thanks.

Problem: Want to HIDE a Custom Field that is no longer needed on PDF transactions... Books won't let me
So I have a custom ITEM field which we displayed on templates. We no longer want to show the custom field on templates but have it available HOWEVER when I try to change it to "Do not show on PDF transactions" it says Almost there, but... Transactions have been created with the custom field. Hence it cannot be deleted. I am not deleting the custom field... I just want to NOT SHOW on PDF Transactions. Another issue... how am I supposed to know what transactions have the custom fields if it does not
Add a public ''subscribed-to'' calendar to free/busy
I subscribed to a public calendar which belongs to me (created under Google Agenda). It is shown under "Other Calendars" rather than under "My Calendars". BUG: Unable to convert PO to Bill.
Hi, Does anybody else have an issue with converting a PO to a bill? I have a PO which has been received in. I've 10 items on the PO but when I click "Convert to Bill" I just get a blank Bill form? I've tried safari, chrome and chrome private mode and none work. If I try to convert the bill in zInventory, the bill is populated fine with the PO line items. Is it common to come across so many basic bugs and issues? I'm testing the feasibility of migrating from Quickbooks Enterprise... not going well
Don't change potential owners on lost / won potentials
Hello How do we set up our rules so that when an account owner is updated the owners of closed won and closed lost potentials does not change. We don't want to change all of our historical data for closed potentials. Is there a standard rule to set up for this?

Vendor Deposit tracking
We have a model, where we sublet retail space to vendors, and charge a security deposit, which is repaid at the end of a 6 month period, when the contract gets terminated. I have two questions. 1.
