Importing Leads
Every time I import an MS Excel .xlsx file and map the email the email renders a "false" value. All the emails are valid emails. Everything else imports fine. This happen to three different files (including a test import file with one single row). Any ideas how to fix? I'm tired of going into each record and updating them one by one. So slow. So painful.

CRM sheet view - currency amount exported as text
Hi In CRM I have custom fields holding currency amounts. When these are exported to sheets, they are transformed to text so I am unable to sum etc. I cannot find a way to reformat to numbers. How can I keep them as numbers? Thanks

I wanted to understand the following. 1. When using Zoho as the CRM, and using an external 3rd party mailing software, what workflow is followed (step-by-step)? 2. How do I communicate, from Zoho to which contacts the mails should be sent, to the mailing engine? Does this have to be manual? Importing contacts leaves Email as "false"
There is a fundamental bug in importing from XLS. I import a list of contacts with several columns mapped to fields all fine, e.g. First Name, Last Name and an Email field. But once imported all the emails show as "false"!
How Can I Move contacts into leads?
I am brand new to Zoho. I accidentally entered a couple dozen leads into contacts. Is there a way to easily move them to my leads module?

imported Leads shows email to be false
Hi i am using Zoho Premium, when importing new Leads; after selecting the file to be uploaded, what to do with duplicate files and then even mapping the Zoho CRM field names with the appropriate column names of the source file importing, with everything being correctly chosen , after importing the mobile number of the lead doesn't appear and the email address information just shows "false" . e read that if the column chosen is empty that it might show a "0" or say "false" , but in this case the

Hi im using Zoho Premium, When importing contacts, i obviously select my file to be uploaded, what to do with any duplicate records, I then map the Zoho CRM field names with the appropriate column names of the source file that you import. all is correctly selected and still after a conformation email that the import has been successful, there is still no contacts that appears/are available in the contact field. please help? Technical importing issue

new fields (add vs. change) - under free zoho version
as i understand a free version does not allow users add fields into accounts, contacts etc. however, the standand free version contains unnecessary (for me, at least) fields which i would like to change (as I can't add new fields) . So is thre any way to change some of the fields (including the field name and its parameters)?

Buq in Quotes : change currency does not work properly
In the Quotes module, if my price book is in Euro and I want to quote a product in Japanese Yen, If I select the Yen currency before having created ALL my items in the quote with their right price book reference, the amount considered in Yen and not converted to Yen from Euro with the proper exchange rate. Sort contracts by multiple fields
Is it possible to sort my contacts using multiple fields. Here is an example of what I'm looking to do. Let's say I have a list of contacts and each contact has a last activity field with the date of the last activity. Some contacts will have a task and some won't. Is it possible to create a custom filter that removes all contacts that have an assigned task and then sort the remaining contacts by last activity date? Thanks
Text area not showing carriage returns once saved
I use a text area field for entering general information. If I use carriage return to separate lines/paragraphs, these don't show when the field is saved. Instead all text is just concatenated into one long line. This used to work fine. Please could you advise if this is a bug or if there is some setting somewhere I can use to fix this? Many thanks.
Quotes wont save
Hi. When trying to save a quote and having everything that is necessary and required inputted, I hit the save button and it doesn't do anything. The yellow loading icon pops up and then disappears quickly. This has happened several times and I am having to go in and rewrite quotes over and over again until I can get them to save. Hello all I have eight tick boxes (custom fields) on my CRM form. How can I create a formula the counts how many of them have been ticked? I can't create a formula that uses existing custom fields, so I can't create a field for each tick box that holds a numerical value and then add them together. The lack of options for custom fields and associated formulae makes them of limited use. Any advice would be gratefully received.
Cannot Delete Workflow Tasks
Hello, I was using the Entreprise Free Trial Plan a few days ago, and it expired. After it ended i decided to delete all workflow rules, task and field updates that i created in these past couple weeks during the trial plan. But now i see that i cannot delete them, mainly because Zoho keeps poping-up this message: 'As this task is already associated to the workflow rules, please disassociate it and try deleting.' There are no workflows rules left for me to delete, at least visible, and the pop-up
Edit Link on Lead Page does not display for field mapped as a dependency
I've discovered a problem on my lead pages in Zoho CRM. To summarise, I have two fields: Location (Mapped as Parent Field) Address (Mapped as Child Field) Both of these fields appear on my Lead page (EntityInfo.do), but the 'Edit' link only appears next to Address (the Child Field). When I click it, the drop-down gives no options. No edit link appears next to Location (the Parent Field). If I want to use this functionality, I have to click Edit above the Lead's name and go to the EditEntity.do page
Moving Contacts between modules
Hello, our small company is new to ZOHO- so far we like what we see. But we "mis-imported" contacts into the wrong module, i.e. Leads, Potentials, etc. How can we easily transfer, even if just one by one or mass, contacts from one module to another? I can't seem to find it. Thank you. Kevin

Hi, Just wondering if it's possible to show the full name of a lead on the Feeds page. For example, it currently shows: Tristan F. updated a Lead Wong I would like it to show the Lead's full name, for example: Tristan F. updated a Lead Simon Wong This is a problem because many of our leads have the same surname (especially dealing with Chinese clients, who often use common surnames), making the Feeds page less useful than it could be. Am I missing something in my CRM setup or is this not an option?

Linking events to contacts
Hello there, Does anybody know how to create a new event and link it to different contacts, not just one? I miss this feature very much. Same with tasks. One event muxt necessarily be linked to different contacts or possible customers, take for example a business agenda in a new country, or a show. And it is something I am not able to do with Zoho.
